Go to Bari. To places like Baargaal, Cape Gardafui, Xaafuun. There is jinn there called Cifriid/San ku dable that is often spotted

Don't forget Manya the sea spirit who needs to be placated with gifts before leaving on a sea journey
My aim is to be informed, not exactly see/interact with them

Zulaika whats the difference? If you know their presence, you will need to interact. There is a well known practitioner in the TDot area who keeps wayward husbands from staying out too late.

^don't listen to this guy. Sixir = kufr. In fact, you have to engage in some pretty extreme acts of kufr to show devotion to the rulers of the shayaadiin in order for them to answer your requests.

Sis, just watch those lectures that I told you about. They're extremely informative.

My question is, would you consider marring one of those people if they disclosed to you that, they have suffered from those things. Most of them always keep it positive and tell you they have healed, everything is well etc.
just read your morning and afternoon athkaar and your duas, wahan Allah ogeyn koku di'im mahayo. just keep your self clean from nijaazah and do your thikr. tawakal 3alla Allah.

I know, the things they make them do is absolutely disgusting.. I would never go see one to seek their help. I actually never met one. My intrigue into the jinn world also spills into knowing about magicians. Given the state of affairs in the world today; some type of sorcery is chiefly intertwined in many of the policies and ghastly plans of the elite rulers. I don't know why our ulama are not as informative about these folks. This should be documented and written about extensively; as cautionary measures. All that's out there are people's encounters with jinns through petty sixir from magicians. The dominant narrative of ruqya is most often about engaging the jinn. I wouldn't mind researching and writing about the human footprint of the jinn; the magicians... and their craft from Harut/Marut .. but I'm too timid to make that approach as I know so little to safeguard myself against possible blowback lol.

Jinn do not exist; they are holdovers(ie, cifreet) from ancient Arabian mythology.

Sixir/black magic/evil eye does not exist; correction, it does exist......only in the skulls of the weak-minded, the gullible, and the ignorant.

my cousin once told me that at his mosque, they chased a male jinn away from a Somali girl, whom he'd been raping for many years. I asked him a favor, if he ever come accross that jinn again to ask if he had a sister or a friend he could hook up with me. He thought and still thinks I am crazy.

Sixir or Il are of course superstitious nonsense. Equally troublesome is the practice of "Quraan Saar" where someone reads Quranic verses in the presence of a sick person believing that this is somehow substitute for professional medical advice.

^If you believe in Allah and the revelation that was sent down to Muhammad pbuh, then belief in the world of the unseen is natural. In fact, you can't have iman without belief in the unseen.

If you believe in neither God nor revelation, then all of this will seem silly to you.

in my life ive seen my share of so called " jin possessioned" people and to me they all seemed to be mental ill people who are not treated for so long time.

Also seen people claim their were done sihir to them, also they sounded to me praniod people and superstitious people. majority are from lower class, educational and financially. simple minded people!!

i always refuse when i was asked to do quran saar but as most of you know my background, my father and uncles do to people if they asked though they do not prefer.

i admit, ive seen some things that rise questions to me and weid that i couldnt have explanation but still i dont think it was jin possission. myself ive seen jin couple times (or i thought it was jins) it looked real to me but i wouldnt rule out i was so tired and i was just dreaming. God knows the best.

Please read what you post.

Ignoring for a moment that this is news article and not a scientific study, nothing in this article remotely hints at the existence of Jins or Sixir or angels or ghosts. The article simply mentions the musings of a philosophy professor named Carol Cleland.

Life forms that are imperceptible to the naked human eye already exist. They're called microorganisms. Before the advent of the microscope, no one believed in the existence of microorganisms because there were no holy books propounding their existence or popular superstitious beliefs about their existence. This fact demonstrates that the only reason anyone would believe in Jinns, for instance, is because of superstition and not because there's reason or evidence for existence.

There's popular adage in science: extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

BTW, I like how Islamic apologists cite science when it suits their agenda but reject it when it contradicts their beliefs (i.e. Evolution).

May Allah guide us all to the righteous path!
