Disputed status will remain no matter how much noise the failed politicians make.
People should remember Khaatumo was SL-initiated project, but the end result was not what Siilaanyo envisioned
What is keeping your beloved puntland from liberating sool ?

Liberate from who?
Disputed status works, and PL custom office is in Tukaraq
PL is also selecting the parliamentarians and members of Upper House for all of the clans who formed PL, including people from these regions,
For those of us who oppose SL, we're gonna have our gathering in Tukaraq as soon as Garaad Salleebaan comes out of that hospital in Dubai. We have other traditional elders such as Garaad Abdisallaam, Caaqil Mohamud Omar Ameey, and other traditional elders joining. We'll make it clear all of the noise that is coming from failed politicians doesn't have a consensus.
Bottom line, the people listed in the OP's comment don't speak for anyone but themselves.

Words are wind.
The reality of the situation is the aforementioned Khaatumo group have very little to offer SL, so this list of demands is verging on the science fictional. Yet SL is still willing to sit on the table and make reasonable concessions for them to take back to their region with some dignity. They need SL more than SL needs them is what I am getting at, this much is plain to see.
This list does not even qualify for a starting position. I hope, for their sake, it is not real.

thanks you bro. It doesn't mean I support any views just sharing a news.
Professor samatar told kulmiye that the eastern people r the link that keeps them to somalia and once you solve this issue you have removed one of the big obstacles infront of SL recognition so all these things including the new interior goes this direction.
This reminds me when djibouti reached an agreement with the afar rebels and some issa officials opposed the agreement bc france who helped the govt to defeat the rebels have hosted a peace talks in Paris. Afars had equal positions in the cabinet and the parliament but issa were dominating in the ruling party so in order to incorporate the afars in the party some issa officials like bahdoon have lost their positions in the party wich led the split of issa camp
Bahdoon was sopposed to be the successor of abtidon according to the party regulations so he thought it's over for him
So let us see if this...kkk

Interesting read indeed, i knew there was ikhaan or salafis in SL but never thought they would be part of a larger organization operated from mogdisho.

Somaliland should never accept one thing
1. Removing the National army from the eastern borders and near lasanod.
The rest is domestic affairs. For example building regional Parliament building in lasanod is not symbolic as it seems. In fact Somaliland Parliament already has sub stations in most regions. Eventually the government will build official regional Parliament houses in all the 6 main districts of the country. Where the the National guurti and elected MPs will discuss their regional affairs.
