Lol hyper sxb I never questioned Allan's existence how the heck can I, when I have all these ayaha and proofs in front of me?? Everywhere I look I see ayaaha, every parts of my body is ayaha!! But there are things in the quran or some of the a7kaams of sharia that made me say wow, that's abit too much. Or ist necessary. I am just very passionate person. I do it with career, interacting with people , and guess what religion.
My mind frame more then year ago was that up until a point. There is was one path, Islam. One path. Then I realized that one path does not exist because Everyones mind is different. Personality is different. They will remember different parts islam. they will practice certain parts more then other parts. Each will follow it differently. Then i started analyzing how I was living. and asking why? questionings everything . trying to find new anchor
I know why now.
Belief is very powerful thing
I just what to live differently and seek truth. Everyone to should always learn. I already know what I have to do to get where I need to go

I think communication is key to understanding and sometimes when we are offensive (we are all offensive at times, including myself) people automatically put their guards up and the conversation loses direction.

Folks, there is a difference between resurrection versus reincarnation. I just read snippets of OP post, it comes across as believing in reincarnation, a total no no in Islam. No different than 'sac cabuud' of Hindus.

But did the religion says anything wat happened between the time we were created at the origin and the time we came to this world.
mayhaps we went through a whole lot of worlds ie reincarnation

The Aayah is referring to our Souls. Allah gathered our souls and asked Am I not your Lord and the story of Daud etc etc. Refer to #2

This doesn't mean we existed somewhere else before we arrived in this world on our allocated time by Allah. In your case through Terminal Sheikh Suufi and your mom

Forget about living before with your cats and simplyserene being your neighbor or being a warlord.

I don't know. I don't know if I have enough knowledge to believe reincarnation.

it's just brain storming, i do it from time to time. no success yet of outcome i was hopping. i made this thread to see what others think so i can just find pieces of what missing in my theories.

on a second thought, Haywire. what is your theories how God chose our souls to born in particular time of history, in particular race, ethnicity , race, in particular family, parents? do you think we were in line up, i mean our souls, and God picked us one by one and chosen randomly and start our journey? why you are a male and not a female? i just into that none sense details. looooool

Hyper, I have the same questions coming to me and I havent come accross any convincing answer.
I dont know if a sheikh of your caliber reads sufi literature, but I found one which tries to bring under the same roof Islam and ancient form of
hinduism. In one of its chapters , "THE INFINITY OF CYCLES", it treats this subject. I cant check whether the hadis/storys cited there are authentic or not. The title of the book is Majma'ul Bahreyn ...THE MINGLING OF THE TWO OCEANS by Our master Prince DARA SHIKO mAy God be pleased wih him

^ i cannot rule it out our believes be Sufis or otherwise story lines are connected each other or not. for sure all religious and believes of human past and present have similar story lines in a different ways. could be some truth of it and it was "one belief" at some point in human history and people went to write their own details depends of their need and wants? i don't know.

my only theory is, everything has one origin including "beliefs" and changes later!! each group took what they like and continued writing their own belief details? maybe or maybe not.
