Death. I think about it a lot and how I am going to die and if it is going to be painful death and what awaits me on the "other" side.

Yes, once you take those out of the equation, nothing is left
Huuno, that was a subjective statement so spare me the sarcasm. :comeon:

Anyway, it has been a while since I last argued with you. How can entice you into another week long debate? :notsure:

Yeah it's weird, I woke up one day and noticed that when I zoned out I thought of nothing which creeped me out. Years down the line I am having the opposite issue. Human beings eh

Ain't got much of an opinion to be honest. Men like him and Hamza Yusuf etc cater to English speaking audiences living in the West but I have always had a problem blindly following Preachers and Scholars especially when they use Ijtihad. Studying history taught me that nothing beats primary sources and I will not be content with a Scholar's stance on matter that requires that Ijtihad until I have sought knowledge for myself otherwise I am no better than a sheep being led by a shepherd. I sometimes find that they are inconsistencies or in how they reason in matters which require Ijtihad but I keep those doubts to myself because it would be folly to criticise them whilst lacking sufficient knowledge.

I think about how my kids would grow up? What kind of ppl they will turn out to be and will I be there to witness their journey to adulhood. Will I ever live long enough to meet the man my daughter will bring home. Will he treat her right. Will my son become a playa. My mind is busy with all kinds of questions.

Take those out of the equation, maxaa soo hadhay ? :Puhlease:. Personally I think too much about my overall family's well being, mainly revolves around if something were to happen to me (God forbid) will they still remember me (in their prayers, duca etc), can they provide for themselves, and how can I prepare them that day. I guess, I'll never know.
