I was hoping you'd mention that. Now read from that very book (Majmu AL fataawa) chapter 13. He explains not only how he's a sufi but A QADIRI SUFI. The same sufi group your beloved sayid was fighting against for kufr![]()
![]()
Another point, sayidka was a sufi who fought against the british, the founding father of salafism Muhamad ibn abdulwahab al najdi fought with the british against the ottomans and Muslims of hejaz who were sufis. So you base your faith on a man who aided the kufaar against the ummah while being a staunch sayid suppoter who fought the British
^There are many translations of Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah), which some of them Sufis in the past doctored and changed his work. I encourage everyone go to his work and see the whole writings by himself. It is clearcut that his work is a refutation of the Sufi mythology.
One of his students was Sheikh bn al-Qayyim (rahimahullaah) whose earlier work dealt with and promoted Sufism but after he met with Sheikh Ibn Taymiyyah, he abandoned Sufism and wrote this book called ‘Fasl Fi Dham al-Hawaa’ (a treatise in Dispraise of Desires). This book is a refutation of Sufism.
You see you can dance around the facts all you want, but it is clear cut that the work of Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) is a direct refutation of Sufism.
With respect to Sayid Mohamed Abdulle Hassan (rahimahullaah), he was a student of Sheikh Muhamad Saalax in Mecca. In order to prove someone was a Sufi, you follow who taught him Islam and who had a huge impact in his life. There was no sufism thought to Sayidka. As a matter a fact, when he started his movement, his first opposition was Qaddiriya Sufis going to the graves.
With respect to who supported the British colonialists, it was the corrupt Qadiriya in both North and Southern Somalia who were working with British and Italian colonialists. Sufis, just like Shia, has always been allied with the enemies of Islam. Read history!
Sheikh Muhammad Bin Abdiwahhab (rahimahullaah) supporting the British? That is crap that is spread around by enemies of Islam, including the Rawaafidh and heretic Sufis. His work is as clear as day that he studied all madhabs in Sunni Islam, and found out both the Sufis and Shia were hiding behind earlier Islamic scholars when their practices had nothing to with Islam. He challenged them to bring verse in the Qur'an and hadith justifying their claims. He was nowhere in politics but wrote Kitab At-Tawhid (The Book of Monotheism). Read his work and see what he did.
Lastly, when people throw around emoticons, you know they're not comfortable what they're raising

Re: Sufism is returning back in Somalia, Alhamdullilah !!
And look at today; the whole kuffar world, aided by the Rawaafidh and Sufis, are ganging up on Salafists and other Sunni Muslims.

Sxb I'm well aware of ibn taymiya works, one moment in his life he'd write against sufis the next he'd claim to be one . He was jailed by the ulama of all 4 sunni schools due to his heresy. But the fact remains he mentions in his long book majmu al fataawa that he was a sufi and bragged about wearing the cloak of Abdul Qadri AL Jaylaani.
As for ibn abdulwahab, his own father who was a hanafi scholar and his brother Sulaiman warned the people against him. He aligned himself with ibnu saud and waged jihad against ahlul makka and Medina saying they're kufar who worship the prophet in Medina and sayida khadija in mecca.
The british helped them by giving them weapons, this ks documented by the ulama of hijaz before the najdis took over. There was an alliance between ibn abdulwahab and ibn saud which is still existent today through the help of the gaalo. All the politics is controlled by ahlu saud while all the islamic side is controlled by aal al sheikh. Even the current blind mufti of Saudi Arabia is a decedent of ibn abdal wahab, hence the title "aal sheikh " which means reerka sheekh. I can't believe Somalis fell for this wahabi shit more than any other ethnicity

Question: In the sufis thariqa' there was a term call syari'a,thariqa',haqiqa' and ma'rifah. Is this term really have been tought by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)to his companion according to the definition by the thariqa' it self.
Praise be to Allaah.
We must understand that the word al-soofiyyah (Sufism) refers to wearing woollen clothes [the Arabic word soof means “wool”] and nothing else.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
The word al-soofiyyah (Sufism) refers to wearing woollen clothes; this is the correct meaning. It was said that it comes from the word safwat al-fuqaha’ (the elite of the fuqaha’) or from Soofah ibn Add ibn Taanijah, an Arab tribe that was known for its asceticism, or from Ahl al-Suffah (poor Muslims in Madeenah at the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who used to stay in the mosque), or from al-Safa (the mountain in Makkah), or from the word al-safwah (meaning elite), or from the phrase al-saff al-muqaddam bayna yaday Allaah (the foremost rank before Allaah). All of these views are weak (da’eef); if any of them were true then the word would be saffi or safaa’i or safawi, not sufi.
Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 11/195
Sufism (tasawwuf) did not appear until after the first three generations which the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) praised when he said, “The best of mankind is my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them…” (narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2652; Muslim, 2533; from the hadeeth of Ibn Mas’ood).
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:
With regard to the word soofiyyah (Sufism), it was not known during the first three generations, rather it became known after that.
Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 11/5
This tareeqah and its like are among the innovated ways that go against the Qur’aan and Sunnah and the way followed by the best generations. All the shaykhs of these tareeqahs have made up their own wirds (phrases to be uttered as dhikr), hizb (books of du’aa’ to be read daily by their followers) and ways of worship by which each of them may be distinguished from the others; this goes against sharee’ah and divides the ummah.
Allaah has blessed this ummah by perfecting its religion and completing His Favour upon it, so everyone who comes up with an act of worship or a way that was not brought by sharee’ah is effectively rejecting what Allaah has said and accusing the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) of betraying the trust.
Along with this innovation of theirs, they may also be lying by claiming that they received their tareeqah from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), or that they are following the path and guidance of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs (al-khulafa’ al-raashideen).
The scholars of the Standing Committee were asked:
Is there any such thing in Islam as the numerous tareeqahs like the Shaadhilyyah, Khalwatiyyah etc? If there is such a thing, what is the evidence for that? What is the meaning of the verses in which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And verily, this is My straight path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His path. This He has ordained for you that you may become Al‑Muttaqoon (the pious)”
[al-An’aam 6:153]
“And upon Allaah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path. But there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind)”
[al-Nahl 16:9]
What are the ways that separate people from the path of Allaah, and what is the way of Allaah? What is the meaning of the hadeeth narrated by Ibn Mas’ood, according to which the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) drew a line and said, “This is the path of guidance,” then he drew lines to its right and another to its left and said, “These are other paths and on each path there is a devil calling people to it”?
They answered:
There is no such thing in Islam as the tareeqahs that you mentioned, or anything else like them. What there is in Islam is what is indicated by the two verses and the hadeeth that you quoted, and what was indicated by the hadeeth in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The Jews split into seventy-one sects, and the Christians split into seventy-two sects. My ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all of which will be in Hell except one.” It was asked, “Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “Those who follow the same path as I and my companions are on today.” And he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “A group among my ummah will continue to follow the truth and to be victorious, and they will not be harmed by those who forsake them or oppose them, until the command of Allaah comes to pass when they are like that.” The truth lies in following the Qur’aan and the saheeh, unambiguous Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). This is the path of Allaah, this is the Straight Path. This is the straight line mentioned in the hadeeth of Ibn Mas’ood, and this is what was followed by the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) (may Allaah be pleased with them and with their followers among the early generations (salaf) of this ummah, and with those who follow their path). All other tareeqahs or groups are the paths mentioned in the verse (interpretation of the meaning):
“… and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His path…”

I don't read sheekh munajids b.s on that website. Like I said majmu fataawa is a collection of fatwa written throughout ibn Taymiyah lifetime. That's why he's so controversial because he contradicts himself. Read chapter 13 of that book and you'll see what I mean. I have a copy of it.gegiroor wrote:Source: https://islamqa.info/en/20375

Re: Sufism is returning back in Somalia, Alhamdullilah !!
I see, playing the Sufi card of trying to assassinate the character of one of the the scholars of Islam when they couldn't refute his work. You were first claiming him, now you calling him all names in the book. Instead of refuting what Sheikhul Islam has done, it is all about attacking him and claiming some defunct Sufi "sheikhs' have attacked him in the past. Who cares! We see his work and that is what counts!burcaawi14 wrote:Sxb I'm well aware of ibn taymiya works, one moment in his life he'd write against sufis the next he'd claim to be one . First, the British was a powerful empire and the Ottoman rulers at that time was very unpopular in the Arab and the rest of Muslim world.
Second, it was Al-Saud who first unified all of the tribes in Najd. At that time, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Abdul-Wahhab (Rahimahullah) was in Mecca in Hejaz. By the time Al-Saud launched his offensive in rest of the Arabian peninsula, he had at least 10,000 troops. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Abdul-Wahhab (Rahimahullah) was in no position to oppose him.
After Al-Saud defeated the tribes, he could not declare himself as Khalif, so he needed religious legitimacy. He called for an Islamic conference in Mecca for all over the world. Many shuyuukhs came from many places. He didn't get the legitimacy that he wanted. When he approached Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhab (Rahimahullah), knowing his intentions, he refused to get involved in politics but stated that he will deal with religious matters. Al-Saud was palying the Najd card, but many scholars state that Mohamed Bon Abdul-Wahhab (Rahimahullah) did not have power to deal with Al-Saud, so he has started to focus on religious matters and stayed clear from him.
As time went by, the sheikh gathered large followers in Mecca and Medina. At that time Arabs were very tribal oriented, and Seikh Mohamed Ibn Abdul-Wahhab's goal was first to return them to the roots of Islam and prepare them for future plans.
When Al-Saud died, his son Abdul-Aziz assumed power. He saw the growing strength of ulema after some of the ulema challenged him, and decided to deal with them. At that time, Sheikh Muhammad Bin Abdul-Wahhab was dead. Abdul Aziz launched an offensive against them and eventually crush them. It was after this defeat that they signed the agreement that ulema will take care of religious matters and politics will be handled by Al-Saud family. It was a truce to safeguard the Muslims since Abdul-Azziz was a powerful ruler and had the backing of the British.
That said, there was no single treaty that Sheikh Muhammad Bin Abdul-Wahhab (Rahimahullah) signed with the British. All of the claims that were recently made are designed to discredit the Salafi Muslims who are the biggest adversary that the enemies of Muslims face. Truth is, he was badly persecuted and faced many difficulties in order to call people to Islam and challenged the heresy that the Sufis and Rawaafidh were spreading in Muslim lands. Even today, it is the Salafi Muslims who are the biggest opposition to the Al-Saud family. Hudreds of them are killed annually, and tens of thousands of them are in prisons.
So you want people to believe the crap that you used to put out like "Madad Yaa Jeylani agithnaa yaguuthu," or "Cabdul-Qaadir Jeylaani dhulka ayuu taako taako ugu jiraa," or Go to graves and beg one of your great grandfathers like "Awoowe hebeloow muraad baan kuu leeyahay ee hawshaan ii fuli," or "Wannanka ugu buuran noo soo qala waanu idin barakayne." Aar maxaad dadkaa quraafaad barteen.Even the current blind mufti of Saudi Arabia is a decedent of ibn abdal wahab, hence the title "aal sheikh " which means reerka sheekh. I can't believe Somalis fell for this wahabi shit more than any other ethnicity
Cuh cah, cuhcah, ah ah aha is what you call a dikr. What a joke!
Alhamdulillaah Muslims have departed your crap. That is why Sufism is on the decline today while Salafi Muslims are on the rise. That is why Sufis and Rawaafidh are proected by Allah's enemies.
Re: Sufism is returning back in Somalia, Alhamdullilah !!
Since when despotic rulers represented Salafi Muslims? But at least they don't claim to be Islamic rulers unlike the Rawaafidh leadership in Tehran. Truth is, if one can see through all of the confusion and fitna that Dajjal has created, Sufis and Rawaafidh are too dumb and blind to see because they are not following the correct manhaj in Islam. The whole godless world, aided by the two most treacherous groups (Rawaafidh and Sufis), are at war with Salafi Muslims. Clear examples are what is happening in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.burcaawi14 wrote:Inadeer are you blind? Nope, from experience Somali sufis tend to practice the art of money-making either through selling dubious health drink concotions or diagnosing diseases from a 'secret' book to cure ignorant, poor patients. Can't trust 'em

I thought these were suufis

It makes sense hadra is innovations from the yahuud

Pagan Origin
Ritual retained, meaning redefined. Paganism spiritualized into monotheism:
Pilgrimage and Circling Kaba 7x
Each local tribe of Arab pagans walked 7 times around their own kaba that housed their own black stone.
Muslims circle the Kaba, claiming Abraham did such.
Kissing black stone
Each local tribe of Arab Pagans kissed their own tribal black stones.
Muslims kiss black stone but say it was a divine meteorite that fell at Adam's feet and was rediscovered by Abraham.
"The stone throw" at Mina
Wide spread custom among Pagan Arabs.
Muslims claim the custom was started by Abraham when he threw stones at the devil.
"The Run": Safa and Marwa
Pagans ran between two idols, Isaf and Na'ila:
Muslims perform the same running but redefine the meaning to be Hagar running between hills, looking for water for Ishmael.
"The Praise" after Pilgrimage
Pagans praised dead ancestors
Muslims perform the same praising but redirect the praise to Allah, and with more zeal!
