I wasn't ignoring your point about the right of citizens nor am I disputing the fact that law enforcement officers should be held accountable. My argument is that (and am not alone in this) blm are using white racist cops to distract the masses from the reality of the very same BLACK LIVES that they claim MATTER. The blm movement has grown and every time they take to the street, they are on every channel. Not only in America but across the world. And that's what cannot understand. Why not address the drive by shootings and black on black murders?Macarons wrote:You're seeing things I haven't said. I never said priotise one over the other . As I said before, black-on-black crime is one issue and the police force's disproportionate brutality towards blacks is another. Your argument is like the person who objects to funding for cancer research because there are other diseases that need to be cured! The question is, why do you choose to conflate the two issues? They are separate. Also you have not acknowldeged my point on the people's power, citizens have the right to question public servants in a democracy, regardless of anything.jalaaludin5 wrote:What do you mean by....within the community? Are you saying this black on black murders is a family affair so let's first deal with the 'white racist cops' before we address our own little black Al-Qaeda with saggy pants?Macarons wrote:
You're conflating two issues. These white cops are paid by taxpayers to do one job and to do it right. As representatives of the state if they fail then the consequences are much bigger than just individual black criminals attacking each other on the streets. They are under oath to 'protect' and to 'serve' the citizens of said state. Criminal citizens did not.
Yes, black on black crime happens but they are internal issues to be fixed within that community. It does not justify white cops, who are servants of the citizenry, breaking the law.
In that case, how about blm change their name to something that leaves no doubt as to what their cause is about? A name that paint a clear picture of their FIGHT FOR JUSTICE AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY, instead of this hypocritical title which contradict the objective and focus of the movement. At the moment all that seem to matter is the action and behaviour of white cops towards those ghetto black terrorist.
Blacks-against-blm. Their argument is based on sound judgement unlike this political movement called BLM who yearn to have their plight and suffering acknowledged by the white man.
Not a big fan of #Hypocrisymatter.. A.K.A BLM

I wouldn't object to funding cancer because I can see what the funding was for (cancer). Its crystal clear. BLM (if the tittle is anything to go by) is also clear. Or it seem. But it's not about black lives per say, but rather black lives that was taken by a white racist cop. So it would be like asking for cancer research funding only to be used for a cure for malaria.
