it is appeasement, that is the only way to describe it. u know aswell as i do that if the darafs were serious and patriotic then everything would be kosher. somaliland is a democracy nobody claims the darafs they can move out of the country if they choose to but the land will remain to be claim by us
dude you saw how cali warancade's position was given to a dhulo, the darafs do get their share of the pie you are just appeasing them

They won't get shit..

Either they participate in the political process or they can leave Somaliland.

Btw, it was not fair back then because Isaaq is always described and addressed as a monolith when it comes to politics while minority clans are divided into sub clans and allocated political seats as sub clans but the same formula never applies for Isaaq.

Adeer wadankan Somaliland Isaaq baa dhiig iyo nafba u huray, Doofar Ismaciil oo shalay Afweyne iyo Kacaankii ku hoos gabanayey la isu debcin maayo.

A more equitable sharing would be:

Isaaq 29 (65%)
Ciise 4 (9%) (this was back then, they have since moved to Djibouti)
Gadabursi 3 (7%)
Dhulos 7 (16%)
Warsans 1 (2%)

why do you divide warsangali an dhulos and put the entire isaaq and gedabursi as as sub clan? Who needs enemies when you have isaaq fools.?

I am h.y and am more then dhulos , warsangal and gedabursi don't disrespect isaaq again by equating large clans with faqash sub clans.

Isaaq 29 (65%)
Dir 7 (16%)
Harti 8 (18%)

I just did the calculation from SL population survey of the 50s. Listing all 8 Isaaq divisions was too cumbersome and would not have added to the point as the total remains the same (65-70%).

X.Playa wrote:Isaaq waa baaldi futada ka daloola. How many times they were told the so called usp party didn't contest the election. Only snl and nuf did run .

Read Douglas Hall " Somaliland last year" Douglas Hall was the British governor he monitored the elections, 83k voted, 50k for snl and 30k for nuf,
zero vote for the fake party usp.

Snl won 22 mps and nuf 11 mps . Cigaal robbed nuf of 10 mps from nuf and gave 3 from his snl to the none saaqs of usp. Usp basically functioned as junior partner of snl but they didn't contest in the election.

Now please for the last time stop propagating dhulbahante/gedabursi fake narrative of usp.

 kalay Buddhism-ku qabyalada kamay tirtirin?

Yeah 2 is oki, ciise population in Somaliland has been disappearing since the late 18 century. Now they can hardly get 3 MPs. There should be a national plan to boost Ciise population in Western Somaliland.

And it's good for our national integrity as well. Gadabuursi are going to be problematic if they occupy the whole region. Multiclanism decreases clan power and insures government rule. Both berbera city and awdal region demographics should be changed next 10 years .

@Prince Nugaal, sxb how about you rehabilitate and resettle your Dhulbahante&qaldaan Harti refugees in Dhadhaab who have been cleansed out of their only urban centers and to an extend their regions, instead of acting like a clueless dhiidh-laba shid lay ah bitch for those ciise waraabe and ciyaal kacaan vermins? They should come back ya know
I can categorically and confidently say to you right here right now in 2016, that there is not a single inch of land, tuulo, town and city where Gadabursi have lost to or let those phantom Bantu hashamite Ciise and Isaaq encroach upon, can you honestly say the same about your people/ Honest to f-king God man?..... Indulge me please :geek:

@Yusuf baan shegaayaa, waar ayaydaadii baakhadnimada kugu soo korisay wase, do you even know the definition of "Integrity"?
How do you utter the word "Integrity" and in the same breath say something as inan-gumeednimo, morally retarded and provocative as " Gadabursi are going to be problematic if they occupy the whole region" Explain yoormadafaking-self sxb?

Get this through your retarded, xabashi dry-gin, mirqaan ridden thick head of urs Yusuf, Awdal is 160% occupied and owned by the Awdlite AWLIYADA. Politically, economically, socially , demographically as well as erm culturally, just like for the last 500 years as well as the next 5 centuries! Xataa dhinaca diinta unuka uunaa ka dacwayna/khudbadayna/xadiisna and none of that zomali wahabi fanaticism and blood smith cartel alshabaab philosophy is ever tolerated, you eastern communist shuuci Irhaabi bastard. Walaahi fariid-nimadaada iyo nacasnimadu waa laba aan is qaban!

good luck with that. For Somaliland to have legitimacy, we need Harti onboard as well as GB and Ciise. The way you do that is not by alianting them but to bring them along using diplomatic channels. This hardline thinking of either you are with us or move out is rather amateur and can only work in Virtual world. The truth is Harti have large of swath of degaan within Somaliland and you cannot simplily tell them to pack and leave.

Xildiid,

While it is true that Isaaq sacrificed and are spearheading Somaliland,we must still excerise greater thinking. If anything has been found true is that Isaaq cannot forcibly persuade Harti to join and become part and parcel of SL, the only other option is to use soft approach and not make inflammatory comments that drive people away.
