You are conflating two issues.

Let me repeat, no one is expecting any form of political support from China, however economic cooperation is very possible. China's National Petroleum Corporation is state owned, state operated, they came to sign a deal with Somaliland. They are the parent company of the fourth largest company in the world. Large scale projects is something Chinese are very good at, and they have an interest in the region, evident from their latest move in Djibouti. Making use of their expertise in areas we lack is not really all that crazy.

Their internal politics its of no importance to this discussion.

Nuclear, Solar and Wind energy is the future of Somalia/Somaliland.

I've been observing s/l for over a decade........nothing has changed domestically or internationally to warrant any optimism.

Ask the Kulmiye government. They are the ones who seem to ruin everything they touch. He was genuinely interested, but of course the political climate in SL leaves no room to do business.

This is part of this agreement. Somaliland is engaging this company in order to get the necessary data which then GENEL ENERGY will buy off from Somaliland and interpret on its end. GENEL will then make a decision based on the result whether they will go ahead with the scheduled drilling of the 3 test sites which was part of the Contract that gave them the two blocks.

Wtf are you blabbing about your drunken fool. Does Kulmiye =a qabiil or are they the ruling regime who get the blame when they screw up and the praise when they do something right.
