Friend my foot! Show me the money, mate!
Re: A true friend or a million bucks ?
Something very gay about grown ass man turning down untold riches to get affection and acknowledgment from anotha nygga. I mean I'd chose a nice home, exotic car and a good amount of mula in the bank any day over highly suspect bromance.

Re: A true friend or a million bucks ?
I have already come to the realisation that money will not buy you happiness, it can eliminate some of your immediate worries and make life convenient if you handle it right, and it also won't last for ever, as it devalues over time due to inflation forcing you to maintain it. A true friend has zero maintenance, fills you with energy, gives you advice and happiness, a true friend gives you love and affection that is real. You can get rich and a true friend will stand by you, you can get poor and a true friend will pick you up. The chemicals in your brain are replenished with a true friend and drained when you are around fake friends. You can earn a million, there are many paths, some short some long, but you are never guaranteed a true friend, if I was offered the choice I would the true friend ! I true friend isn't just to mitigate the feeling of being lonely, a true friend is with you on this journey of life.

Nothing gay about it sir, you made the choice of picking material things over companionship, brotherhood etc, besides a true friend can be a boy/girl, family/non-family etc.Advo wrote:Something very gay about grown ass man turning down untold riches to get affection and acknowledgment from anotha nygga. Most people find their best friend in their spouse, some people find their best friends within their family, others find a best friend from greater humanity.
that fact that you think it is gay to want a true friend over money shows how immature and short sighted you are.

When you have all the riches in the world it is 10 times harder to find a true friend, you will attract flies like a pile of shitt, and even if you hide your wealth you will not be able to be honest which is a pillar of friendship.Twist wrote:Friend my foot! Show me the money, mate!

Tuulo being full of true friends? I highly doubt that more like parasites attracted by your money. Adali gave a good reply which covers what I wanted to say so have nothing to add. With sharing I meant do fun things together. It's depressing to be wealthy and have no true friends to do something with. Besides there's nothing wrong with being a giving person it's the essence of happiness. The movie Richie Rich is a good example of what we are discussing in this thread. It's about a wealthy boy who has everything his heart desires but no companionship.LoDoon wrote:Huuno with wealth you will find your tuulo full of your friends and good ones too. As for sharing are you crazy you wanna become a welfare office??

What may those things be? I'm in my twenties and they say life starts at 30 that's the peak of your life. Life is however you look at it.LoDoon wrote:Huuno horta how old are you?
