I know there are some pro unionist landers.
But I want to know what the anti Somalia snetters and southerners think.
Insanity according to Albert Einstein is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Instant recognition. At the moment, that is about all Somalia has to offer to us

The elephant in the room is R-E-C-O-G-N-I-T-I-O-N!
Somaliland has been hamstrung without having access to the plethora of global financial and political institutions.

Unfortunately they're about 10 years too late. :)

Somalia has access to global financial and political institutions, and hasn't done any good. I am not sure that there is any guarantee there, that Somaliland would be better off then , than now

We are talking about s/l sxb......the south is a lost cause.
Without access to multinational financial/political institutions s/l has not been able to capitalise on it's peace and stability.
Somaliland has been through a lost decade.....which still continues.

Well you guys are partly to blame for that.

Had we spent in working together rather than fighting, we might have gone somewhere. But can't bring the past back, so now we must work together for our Somaliland.

Yeah....what's gone is gone we must look to the future.
However, without recognition the future looks bleak. :)

While lack of recognition is making things tougher for Somaliland, I believe we can still do plenty without it. We can still manage our resources better, we can grow food, we can build dams to curb droughts, better education for our youth and create inclusive and robust and effective government without the help of anyone besides Allah SWT

A good, honest leadership is required though.

SL is an HA project. We will never abandon it till the last Habar Awal breath.

If walaweyn want to make ground and followers in their Somalia dream they must propagate to these jelous Gx folks especially after they lose the 2017 election :)

Horta, the better question is, is Somaliland really a country?? Don't be delusional. Somaliland is just another gobol. Kibir baa kaa batay. When things get hard, you're supposed to stick together and help one another, not separate ourselves. That also goes for all Somali's, its happening on a smaller scale in other gobols in other parts of the country.

Aan iss kalmaysanoo, we are all Somali. I don't see any good in hating on each other and separating like that. Let bygones be bygones.
