No it didn't. Thats Somali coffee shop talk and lack of record. Sir Douglas Hall was the last General Governor of SL who organized and monitored the election. He wrote his observation in the following papers.

In it he states how the entire election took place and he stated that tge usp was not a party at all they were nothing but a group of anti isaaq tribesmen , and the fact they didn't contest the election. 85k voted and 33k voted for NUF and 53k for SNL winning 13 and 20 sits based on proportion of the vote.

Cigaal robbed NUF of 12 sits and gave it to Non Isaaq in his party. The USP was just part of the SNL contaray to wgat the minority non Isaaq claim today. Even Douglas Hall bluntly said in his reports that SNL robbed 12 sits from NUF and gave it to their junior party that wasn't even a party.

USP were given the 12 seats by the SNL party that they merged with. The SNL and Cigaal wanted to outmaneuver their former collegeuges in the NUF, who were part of the SNL until they split on an ideological basis in 1954 after Britain ceded Hawd.

Btw, the women you're speaking of ceased to be Iidoor the day they married Daroogo. A woman doesn't have a clan in Somali culture so there's no connection between us.
