In Somaliland the Dhulos have 3 members in the Parliment, but in Puntland they got 17. #DIFFERENCE

Your attempts to make this a "Mj vs Dhulos" won't work. A few handful of men enjoying women and khat in Hargeisa do not represent Dhulbahante the same way a few Isaq men in Mogadishu do not represent Isaaq. Food for thought.Ben Dover wrote: Thu May 18, 2017 5:46 am The Dhabayaco is butthurt, I understand.
The rise of nationalist Somalilandweyne Dhulos is very troubling for you. How do you feel when your cousins prefer Idoor hegemony to sharing a state with you?

Too much psychobabbling here.

Your own cousins would rather join us than ever share a state with you.
You have used them for years, and now they are free.
Re: Galaydh tells Dhulos the cold truth: We can not stand by ourselves, Waxba Manihin!
We're not fooled by your flowers because we know you have a knife behind your back. Your people have recognized that without our support, they will never gain independence. In the short term, you're absolutely right that Somaliland is better than Puntland. But that's because Puntland has showed us her true face, whilst your two faced. Once independence comes, there is nothing stopping Isaaq from using newly acquired state resources to permanently change the demographics of Sool, Sanaag and Buuhodle, ultimately stopping the chance of Warsangeli and Dhulbahante from ever seceding simply because they don't constitute the majority of the region. That would be what any state which wants to protect their sovereignty would do.Ben Dover wrote: Fri May 19, 2017 4:26 amI am not making anything, this is the reality on the ground today.26June1960 wrote: Thu May 18, 2017 6:14 pm Your attempts to make this a "Mj vs Dhulos" won't work. Unfortunately we were also cursed by Puntland being the alternative, but there is absolutely no doubt that they're the lesser evil.

Re: Galaydh tells Dhulos the cold truth: We can not stand by ourselves, Waxba Manihin!
We have not harmed you when we were the victorious side of the Somali civil war, the strongest faction of what was known as Somali Republic.
Had we wanted we could have treated our Darods like Hawiye treated theirs Darods in the 90s. The world was not watching and SNM would have gotten no backlash. If we wanted to change the demographics of Sool and Sanaag there was nothing you could have done to stop us. You actually vacated all of Sanaag and we invited you to come back and take back your possessions.
We are gob like that.
Instead of taking revenge we called for a grand peace summit.
There is a reason why all of the alphabet militias have died a death with no legacy nor any semblance of glory, yet the SNM continues to be remembered and revered.
Upon Independence the world will be closely observing Somaliland, if you really think a secret Isaaq cabal is waiting until the whole world's attention is fixated on Somaliland to remove you from your land then you are an idiot.

Re: Galaydh tells Dhulos the cold truth: We can not stand by ourselves, Waxba Manihin!
The battles in Sanaag were not between SNM and Dhulbahante, rather it was between sub clans of HY and sub clans of Dhulbahante. Nothing significant. Ceerigabo was vacated as well, it was no mans zone back then. And I would rather not take my chances on the international community who are doing nothing as the South Sudanese are butchering each other. They done nothing in Somalia either but watched as Somalis butchered each other. Ultimately, the fact that there is nothing stopping hundreds of thousands of Isaaq's from the Hawd region establishing themselves in Sool and Sanaag after independence is why we'll never support Somaliland, the fact that it is possible is what matters, not the your kind words.Ben Dover wrote: Fri May 19, 2017 8:51 am We have not harmed you when we were the victorious side of the Somali civil war, the strongest faction of what was known as Somali Republic.

Your people are not stupid either, they know that unlike the isolated Gadabursi, you'll stand no chance of ever seeking the support of Dhulbahante/Warsangeli if you attacked us with the full SNM power. Not only that, but you'd have had to battle all of Darood from Kismayo to Badhan who were united in the civil war and mainly focused in Kismaayo at the time (esp us). General Morgan would have awakened for his second return.

Re: Galaydh tells Dhulos the cold truth: We can not stand by ourselves, Waxba Manihin!
The fact that you think Isaaq were worried about a beat up Darod in 1990 whom were getting battered by Hawiye in the south, when Isaaq by all accounts was the strongest faction in the civil war, fighting against majority of the Somali army stationed in the north, and they won, shows you have no business being part of this discussion.
In Sanaag you vacated the entire region and were invited to come back. This is unheard of in Somali history, for a subclan to vacate an entire region and for the victorious side to invite them back to resettle.
Wallahi bilaahi Isaaq are gob. Go see what the Hawiye did to you.
If you really believe we want to plant Isaaqs in your region, what exactly is stopping us now?

They lost, and were destroyed. They didn't exist outside of the Badiye in the night time. Ultimately, your desire to fight against the Somali government outweighed the care you had for innocent civilians you claimed to fight for, and in the end both your movement and your people were destroyed. You were not a significant faction in the civil war until after Siad Barre was toppled.Ben Dover wrote: Fri May 19, 2017 9:50 am The fact that you think Isaaq were worried about a beat up Darod in 1990 whom were getting battered by Hawiye in the south, when Isaaq by all accounts was the strongest faction in the civil war, fighting against majority of the Somali army stationed in the north, and they won, shows you have no business being part of this discussion.
A peace treaty was signed between Dhulbahante and HJ seperately whilst the HY tried to continue fighting. Ultimately, they were likewise defeated and forced into peace talks with us. There was not a single soul living inside Ceerigabo, so did we force you to also vacate the region? Or how about when in 1990, we forced you to go back to your mountains?Ben Dover wrote: Fri May 19, 2017 9:50 am In Sanaag you vacated the entire region and were invited to come back. You simply cannot plant Isaaq's in our region because you're sole existence in our region is based on goodwill. You entered our regions due to our conflict with Majerteen because we saw you as a lesser evil in the short term. Once that notation is removed, you'll likewise be removed.Ben Dover wrote: Fri May 19, 2017 9:50 am Wallahi bilaahi Isaaq are gob. Go see what the Hawiye did to you.

We have gone over this many times in this forum. They lost, and were destroyed. They didn't exist outside of the Badiye in the night time. Ultimately, your desire to fight against the Somali government outweighed the care you had for innocent civilians you claimed to fight for, and in the end both your movement and your people were destroyed. You were not a significant faction in the civil war until after Siad Barre was toppled.
By all accounts, the strongest faction of the civil war was the SNM. The most mechanised units of the Somali army were stationed in Isaaq territory, it was all inherited by the SNM. This is why both of your garaads once summoned came to the peace summit That is why they signed and accepted the declaration of independence.
Ceerigaabo was vacated when SNM was fighting against the Somali army, not you. And even when we were fighting the army, we did not vacate the region. But you have vacated the entire region for fear of Isaaq, specifically HY, despite Afweyne arming you to the teeth. This has never happened in Somali history, for a subclan to vacate an entire region.A peace treaty was signed between Dhulbahante and HJ seperately whilst the HY tried to continue fighting. Ultimately, they were likewise defeated and forced into peace talks with us. There was not a single soul living inside Ceerigabo, so did we force you to also vacate the region? Or how about when in 1990, we forced you to go back to your mountains?
And the victorious side, invited you to come back to the region, this too never happened in Somali history.
The fact that you think we want to plant people in the region when we did not do it after you vacated the whole region is enough of a rebuttal.
Delusional. You simply cannot plant Isaaq's in our region because you're sole existence in our region is based on goodwill. You entered our regions due to our conflict with Majerteen because we saw you as a lesser evil in the short term. Once that notation is removed, you'll likewise be removed.
You are linked to us whether you like it or not. Your 'president' is telling you this. The IC is telling you this.
You can simply never escape the gravitational pull of Isaaq. Whether you cooperate or not is your prerogative, we are willing to give you a fair handshake, but make no mistake about it, Somalilandweyne is here to stay.
Somalilandiid qurjiile should learn from Las Anod people.

You should know that Puntland and the Somali government is hosting a grand Dhulbahante shir in Tukaraq soon, nigga actually thinks that he will have any control soon.Ben Dover wrote: Fri May 19, 2017 11:23 amWe have gone over this many times in this forum. They lost, and were destroyed. And as I've said, Habar Yoonis could do nothing but attack nomads in the baadiye, their insignificant settlement of Bohol was in our possession and a military post. After they tried to a Dhulbahante - Warsangeli town in Southern Sanaag, the casualties they faced were brutal numbering over 200 killed. They were dedicated to peace after such slaughter.
I just want your people to build that dam in Laascaanood and in Fiqifuliye before you get sent back to your triangle. You guys were busy developing our regions and bribing tuugs to think about helping your starving people in Caynabo.

See that is the difference between us and you. Your whole outlook on life and politics is shaped by Isaaq, literally everything you do has a connection to Isaaq, even the single day out of the year where you decide to clean your tuulos
Isaaq on the other hand, including your neighbours, see you as an afterthought.
As I said, the way you vacated an entire region has never happened in the history of Somali conflict. You had the Somali army on your side. You just took off and left everything, poor Afweyne armed you as well.
But we invited you back to your lands out of gobonimo. And even then, how long did it take your people to actually come back?
And you are not one bit thankful.
Same with the dam, on one hand you are begging and happy we will build you a dam, and with the same breath you are scheming against us.
Qurjiile's difficult relationship with Isaaq:

For at least 15 years, BD's vocabulary hasn't changed, neither improved. To him, "qurjiile" is like lollipop in a child's mouth. Probably one of the first words he mastered since joining Snet, which he still finds addictive like lollipop.
