The Chinese will be forced to move hundreds of millions of it's people north into eastern Russia and Siberia south of the tundra.
The world will become local/regional for decades, possibly a century.

Don't underestimate the propensity for "civilization" to bounce back.....mankind is a resilient creature. :)
