I've stated my position in a previous comment. I was referring to your comment ("i am for it, but they shouldnt be allowed to do any kind of dacwa/preaching"), which I found unfair. Either you're against both or support both.CigaalSHiiDaaDCFC wrote: Wed Aug 02, 2017 9:27 pm So you're against the church but for spreading gaalnimo?![]()

they should have the right to worship their god in private or in church but they cant spread their false religion. U said isnt fair well its also not fair that we cant have speakers outside mosques to hear the adhan. And that i cant have more than one wife or discipline my kids according to my religion. So yeah life isnt fair. If they wanna live in our country they'll live by our rules.

This is the first of many politically bold steps designed to boost Somaliland international image and, at the same time, hopefully, jump start its long stalled recognition aspirations. Next in the works are reportedly: a piece of legislation that will protect the rights of the growing GLB community there, as well as appointing an ambassador to the Israeli-occupied holy city of Jerusalem.

Re: The re-opening of the Catholic Church in SL
The church was there before and it created no harm. Also Somaliland's brightest independent warrior was a Catholic and people respect him because he loved his people before religion.
I welcome the church since Hargeisa is multi-cultural and multi-faith city that carters for all. The people who are saying otherwise are from Somalia where they suicide bomb each others inside Mosques. Do you think those kind of people would respect other beliefs and views?
They can't not even tolerate their own Muslims and various mosques. Thank God we do not have to deal with them. We are free of suicides and their backward radical views.
The Church has no harm on any one. We are more to be harmed by suicide "Muslim" from Somalia than this Church on our land.
Do not be fooled by their crocodile tears. They still suicide bomb mosques.
Also those of you in the Diaspora against the church, I know you would say otherwise if a Western agent knocked on your doors and said; "if you against churches should we close your community halls where you pray in our universities, town halls, hospitals, etc'.
Most of you just hypocrites.
A strong Muslim does not fear others co-existing him.
Welcome to Hargeisa.

So, freedom of religion in the West is limited as Muslims aren't allowed speakers for adhan, practice polygamy, discipline their kids, etc? That makes sense.CigaalSHiiDaaDCFC wrote: Thu Aug 03, 2017 2:09 am U said isnt fair well its also not fair that we cant have speakers outside mosques to hear the adhan. Edna Ismail deserves a house of worship for her to receive communion just like before the war. She and other native Christians should be allowed to practice their faith
