The simple fact is that the history of SNM is so fundamental to the creation of Somaliland's second republic means that Mujahids will always be celebrated. Just because Cirro did not contribute to that part of history and instead chose to continue working for the same regime that was attempting to exterminate his people shows us so much about the character of this candidate.

As for other communities in Somaliland, well, they were collaborators of Siad Barre's regime. So they too are ashamed of this part of history and would rather we all forgot about it.

Not only that but I also made it clear that it's not whether Bixi is a Mujahid or not, but rather how does such slogan serves the country best.
