I've heard the discrimination they've undergone is the reason why today Jinacsani and Tulli Guuleed are part of Oromia.
These small towns are a mere 15 miles North of Jigjiga.
This is what happened after the Hawadaay massacre in Jigjiga, an entire Somali-speaking clan singled out
and scapegoated.

You need to read "Fatuhul Habash" or in English "The conquest of Abbysinia" that book explains that Akisho was powerful somali clan.
