In comparison to Hargeisa, Bosasso residents enjoy a higher standard of living if we compare average daily incomes. While urban residents of Hargeisa earn, on average, about $1 a day, Bosasso residents earn over $4. Naturally, with respect to Bosasso, IDPs earnings are far lower. Most IDP households in Bosasso earn a daily wage of a little over a $1, which is more than 50percent, more than most returnee/IDP families living in and around Hargeisa.

You are pretty dumb and I will dismantle everything you write. Why don't you site the website that you copy and pasted your comment from? If you just copy his comment and paste it in Google it takes you to an article from 2003 , a heavily skewed article at that .

So I decided to look at the information the 2003 article is based on And if you were to do that (i.e., read the report from back to front) you will know how the sample were created, who did the gathering of the answers, and how large each “sample” were.

And on this last point, you will see from this report, that, the North East region had the “smallest sample” (in-terms of household that was surveyed) at least in comparison to the North-West region (i.e., Somaliland) and with Mogadishu.

So continue to site your articles from skewed sources, or you can just look at the budget for both governments . SL has $360 million annual budget , PL has a $50 million annual budget.

PL is small dog compared to SL. PL is broke compared to SL. We import more khat on a yearly basis than Puntlands gov has money to operate

The only thing I will say is SL has more rural population than both PL and Xamar , that's why we produce more livestock than PL and Xamar combined. A lot of folks in SL still live the way their ancestors lived long ago the Somali identity is rural nomadic life. With the droughts it is easy to say SL probably does have more poverty than PL, BUT Hargeisa alone shits all over every PL city combined when it comes to middle class families living there. PL has 2 shitty schools in it's entirety. SL has way more schools people actually pay real money to attend. Somaliland is the safest Somali region that's why a lot of reer koonfur and Reer PL move to SL. We are better developed than PL any way you look at it
