Ahmose 1 never ruled over the Land of Punt. I've went to his wiki page and searched all over Google but somehow you are the only one making the claim that he ruled over the Land of Punt.Canuck2 wrote: Sun Oct 29, 2017 4:41 pmZoomalia4Kucks wrote: Sun Oct 29, 2017 2:19 pmYou're delusional my friend. They never specified land of Punt as Somalia because the word "Somalia" didn't even exist back then. We are talking so far back in history this is when Africa was still exclusively black. Before the Hebrews mixed with ethiopians, before any Arab or white came to Egypt, and a time when the Somali , ethiopian, eritrean were VERY closely related and not far removed from our common ancestor. The land of Punt stretched from Modern EASTERN Ethiopia (theres still a lot of Somali regions of eastern Ethiopia today ) , Eritrea, Djibouti , and Somaliland.Canuck2 wrote: Sun Oct 29, 2017 1:40 pm
Obviously you didn’t read or study Egyptian history, unlike I like to read from Egyptian historians not blogs and amateurs. They confirmed Somalia (land of punt) and even land of punt was part of their dynasty at one time read this map. And don’t talk for sake of talking only
Myrhh, frankincense, gum, and top tier wild animals came exclusively from North-West Somalia (Somaliland) and Djibouti.
They've already traced dna from mummified baboons in Egypt back to Eritrea / Eastern Ethiopia
"Baboons, say the researchers, “were among the most important commodities brought back to the pharaohs from Punt, but until now no one has known where those baboons came from.” Matching ancient and modern baboon hair samples indicate that part of the Land of Punt was probably situated in modern Eritrea and northern Ethiopia.

"Recently , in february 2012, an excavation was made in the north of Somalia ,in "Sanaag" of Somaliland region . by IRMAN ARCHEAOLOGY COMPANY (IRM) the team led by a Somali gemologist Mubaarak Ismail . Many statues and plates were found . These two plates of the pharaoh Tutankhamon's Portraits (reign 14th century B-C) consist of gold, metal, copper, bronze and the "bones of cows" according to the Somali Gemologist who found these glorious ancient artifacts . A concrete Legacy of the Somali Egypt-Punt's civilisation in the North Eastern of Africa"
Interestingly, the name 'the Land of Gods' is what the Egyptians called Punt and it is still living in the Somali word "Waaqooyi" (also worshipped by Ancient Egyptians Waaq is the name of God in the traditional religion of many Cushitic people in the Horn of Africa). i.e. Land of the Gods in Somali is Waqooyi. It not only means a direction (north), but at the same time describes the northern mountainous areas of the Somali coast . So to Ancient Egyptian and Somali's northern Somalia was the "Land of God's" but remember the Land of Punt was a KINGDOM that stretched far.
There's also another reason why all recorded somali history started in Waaqoyi. Why shiekh ishaaq and shiekh Darood and other people influential to MODERN somali's are buried in SOMALILAND. It's because still at that time the area of what is known today as Somaliland still important trade and travel value, just like it had for thousands of years before under the name of Punt
You just arguing for sake of arguing, land of punt was part king Ahmose 1 dynasty and since you don’t have any exactly information about land of punt expect what ancient Egyptians had mentioned then why are arguing and debating ? You just trolling
In reality the Land of Punt had its own king and queen such as King Perehu of Punt the inscriptions on hashepsuts wall talk about him and his generosity with all the goods he use to shower Egypt with.
Since we know Punt had its own King and Queens for the ancient egyptians to take control of Punt they would have had to have waged war on Punt. Also interesting there is no recorded history of a Egypt - Punt war.
Please just cite 1 source that says Egypt ruled over Punt. If you go on any Land of Punt page it makes no mention of ever being conquered by anyone. If you go on any King Ahmose 1 biography they all state his main accomplishment was defeating the Asiatic Hyskos Invaders. No where does it mention this man conquered the land ancient egyptians thought was holy , the land of Punt.
