The more i listen to the habar yoonis, the more I realise how right you are. They have very little options available to them. They are captive to the deceptive iiddor unity mantra which shackles them, despite the fact that they have always been shafted by their fellow iiddoor. They know they cannot beat this Jeegaan thing because they have neither the resources, or the numbers, and nobody really wants to be allied to them because they have nothing to offer other than deep seated grudges about everything and everyone. They don't even have internal or territorial cohesion. They are marooned in Hargeisa and Ceerigaabo among larger and more powerful clans. Economically, they are basically the cali beysteen of Jeegaanland. In DDSI, they are more or less extinct. They are practically unheard of in Southern Somalia, they could as well be from Myanmar. I have always thought that they are one of the vanishing Somali tribes that need special protection, like the rhinos of Africa.
