What does it mean?
I signed it mate, but as Michael suggested it is a waste of time considering the timing of the petition.
When I visited Bosaaso, A/Y wasn't even popular with most of the Puntlanders, and I got the impression that they only supported him for the sake of stability and peace. Personally, I don't care if the evil him/herself was the president as long as he/she can deliver peace and stability to ALL the Somalis.
However, I still think the best approach would have been to unite the Somalis in the diaspora for the common good cause of peace and stability for all the suffering Somalis in Somalia. Believe me, we could have solved this problem alone without appealing to strangers. Sadly, we in the diaspora are still divided and fractured along clan loyalties, and everyone is pushing forward their own warlord to be the president, and that is tragic to the oppressed Somalis in Somalia regardless of their tribe.
