Indeed. He probably got paid millions by UAE to drift toward Saudis. Reports say UAE has been lobbying Saleh for some time now.
Looks like he was killed by a sniper shot. Probably by sniper from Iranian QUDS Force. Only more bloodshed will come from this events in Sanaa. Waiting what Saudi/UAE will do now apart from aerial bombardments and using on-the-ground foreign mercenaries.
20 heavy armoured vehicles attacked his convoy, they captured him alive and executed him. His son and other officials had been kidnapped.
