well if I was iley I would arm the clans and residents living in that town to the teeth by smuggling in weapons and ammunition. The Tigre lead ethiopian government want Somalis and Oromo to fight, so at least give the Somalis the means to defend themselves.

Simply solution deport the Oromo in Somalia from north Somalia to Mogadishu there are Oromo who called themselves people of allah(although they bring drug/alcohol/rape Somali women) and Ex Oromo in Mogadishu (they have their own community) deport to Ethiopia to Oromia and they will learn their lesson.

I doubt victimizing poor and destitute Oromo in Somalia will stop the aggression in Ethiopia. :)

They will learn a lesson to not mess with Somalis “ a tit for tat “ type and make think twice before they touch Somali again.

That is not somali region and there is no conflict there. Its deep inside Oromia kilil there is close to 3 million somalis living there and they are being targetted by oromo militia and they are far away from somali region.
My bad, I thought it was a border town, however Iley still represents somalis in Ethiopia, we need to deal with these kind of issues according to international law, this oromos are completely different ethnic group to us we should unite against them under the leadership of Iley.
Abdi Iley deported Oromos from Kilil5, stopped any business from oromo as a revenge for earlier Somali massacre in Oromo kilil. Thousand of Oromo businesses collapsed mostly qaad and vegetable, their economy is in dire situation. The Oromo regional President acknowledged the massacre and demanded investigation, also called Somalis to return to their homes in Oromia region. suddenly, another wave of attack had taken place at a refuge place where the Oromo army left Somali civilians open for attack. There are 2 underlying proplems:
1) There is no regular co-ordination between Oromo representatives in the parliament and the Oromo puplic, example, one say something the other do different.
2) The concerned area are deep in Oromo kilil far from kilil5 jurisdiction.
Earlier years, Oromo tried to do the same about Issa in Diri-dawa, fortunately, Issa have the backing of D'jbouti and they couldn't do a thing, the city now is under Federal jurisdiction like Addis-Ababa. Oromo always attack defenceless civilians.

Iley is doing a good job but he needs to focus on defending Somalis in Oromo kilil also, Somalis do alot of bad shit to each other, but we can pay blood money and come to reconciliation, however oromo are a disorganised people who out number us, we most unite and fight them fiercely and any other foreigner for that matter, otherwise one by one Somali clans will be exterminated.
