Re: The fort of Walwal and the incident that set off a chain reaction leading up to world war 2
Voltage,
Exactly that’s the kind of kitchen gossip I am talking about that Afweyne and few misguided Dooros fed you guys.
I am going to slam you hard and put it to a good rest so get ready in few hours.
I don’t even need to do much as it’s clear to anyone who knows littl but burying Faqash is what I do for fun.
It’s unbelievable how grown men come in front of others with poor kitchen assembled gossips and feel good bed time stories.
Few hours will challenge everything in that poor “article” or “book” no doubt written by another Dooro (will get his name) from his mum’s kitchen.
Then I will share the actual events as recorded not only by those who witnessed but by independent international community.

Next thing you know they will say Adan Low is not Marehan and had little to do with the Italo-Abbysinian war and that it was really the Habar Magadle Micheal Mariano who lead the charge than lead to Ethiopian colonization.Voltage wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2018 1:09 pmWhat the hell do the British and Michael Mariano and some Isaaq lackeys have to do with the Italo-Abbysinian war and the Walwaal incident? What do you expect from a Xabashi eunuch......cooning doesn't begin to describe his actions.
He came sniffing around with his bullshit on this historical thread that details the history of our heroic predecessors.
Now he's threatening to come back in a few hours to prove our glorious history to be false.
Clearly this eunuch has got a sick mind and time on his hands.

I disagree , Somalia accepted all it's borders except it's border with Somaliland. I never seen Somalia government claiming NFD , Djibouti and Ogaden. Even during the siad Barre era we used to pretend that WSLF is fighting against Ethiopia , our troops were fighting as rebels .Canuck2 wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2018 11:44 amSomalia and Morocco are the only two countries in Africa that did not accept the borders of Africa as was settled by Europeans in Berlin.theyuusuf143 wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2018 6:54 amAdali wrote: Thu Jan 25, 2018 10:24 pm The reason why on the UN map of Somalia the boundary between Somalia and Ethiopia is dotted line is mainly because of this incident, it is still not accepted border by either nation, however the border between eithopia and somaliland is official, this is because the incident took place in walwal in the marehan territory stretching from Wardheer to north of Gelaadi in village called Qoloocan to back to dudub and rejoins Somalia at the mudug border. If you know that the border between you and and Ethiopia is not official why don't you claim the other side of the border. The border between our two countries is legally demarcated but you don't accept, why ?

No that border is not meaningless, we lost 200 thousand because of it and still it's the biggest issue between Mogadishu and hargeisa. My point is if your country accepted that illegal border between Somalia and ethiopia why it's so difficult for you to accept this legally demarcated border between us . I understand we are the same people but Somali galbeed are not different either. Even you don't mind the NFD and Djibouti border, why Somaliland is different?Adali wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2018 12:03 pmstick to the subject mate, not everything is centred around you, this holy border of yours is meaningless, even the british wanted to dissolve it long before SL and the south became unified.theyuusuf143 wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2018 6:54 amAdali wrote: Thu Jan 25, 2018 10:24 pm The reason why on the UN map of Somalia the boundary between Somalia and Ethiopia is dotted line is mainly because of this incident, it is still not accepted border by either nation, however the border between eithopia and somaliland is official, this is because the incident took place in walwal in the marehan territory stretching from Wardheer to north of Gelaadi in village called Qoloocan to back to dudub and rejoins Somalia at the mudug border. Somalia or Somaliland same shit, we both just took the name given to us by the colonials, but while the later retained a whole english word the former only retained suffix which is ignitable offence to the former british subjects in the north apparently.
Anyway this topic is about a big war that claimed the lives of close to a million Xabasha.![]()

Somalia officially accepted border with Djibouti and Kenya, the border with Ethiopia is a very complex issue, and it stems from this incident I am talking about.theyuusuf143 wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2018 1:43 pmI disagree , Somalia accepted all it's borders except it's border with Somaliland. You see the British demarcate colonial Somaliland border with Ethiopian colony of Ogaden and the border with Italian Somaliland. However Italian Somaliland never demarcated the border with Ethiopian colony of Ogaden. The current border is loosely on UN agreement but is disputed by both countries since the independence of Somalia. that is why our border with Ethiopia is a dotted line.
Now stop inserting SL into this thread

What lies ? Adan Low was the one who started the italian Ethiopian war, the territory was Marehan, Wardheer used to be the base of Marehan Suldaan from Rer Warfaa Dalal Diini. Walwal is little north of Wardheer.AbdiCushite wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2018 1:32 pm As usual doofar lying and being revisionist historians . Who makes more fake news, doofar or trump?
This incident had nothing to do with Isaac because Isaac do not live in this area, neither did they ever do anything without the wish of their British colonial God, and since the British were neutral in this deadly war, the Isaac were irrelevant servants in zoos at the time.

You already exposed your ignorance right there and I shouldn't even make fun of you. I believe you are unaware and consumed the cool-aid Afweyne propaganda and his Boon-kitchen stories far too long.Voltage wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2018 11:39 am The Walwal incident and the Ethiopian invasion of Italy had everything to do with Marehan and a Marehan man, Adan Loow, started it.
Adan Shire Jama aka "Adan Loow"; the man who shot the first shots in the Italo-Abbysinian war and organized the first free Somali elections in 1960. Adan Loow struck the first shot heard around East Africa and that brought the Italians and Abbysinians head on.This saw the eventual Italian takeover of the Ethiopian state and Haile Salassie escaping into exile. He later became one of the finest administrators in the trusteeship government, took the position of Interior Minister in the trusteeship colonial government, organized the first free Somali elections, and continued to be a high profile minister post-Somali independence in the 60's (Minister of Justice). They called him "Loow" because he was wounded in the knee during war.
How did he fire the 'first shots' of Italo-Abyssinian war when Italy and Abyssinia went to war 1896? The level of ignorance you display is beyond me. Italy got handed to them in the battle of Adwa in 1896 under Emperor Menelik II and the Italians were left with humiliation ever since. All the Europeans laughed at them and Mussolini promised to re-visit this chapter.
Equally your Boon-character did not start WW2 because I know that's where you going with this. Italy sided with Germany and wanted to claim the last of the free African lands (off Europeans) to themselves (Abyssinia).
Good try my Boon friend but I already busted that lie. To make matter worse you wanna tell us a mere 'askari', which was a term the Italians used for their low ranked mercenaries of southern Somalis and Eritreans was responsible for the war. Very funny and one of the most riddicilous claims ever.
His shots fired
He was a mere foot soldier used by his masters and a single shot did not trigger the Abyssinians. The Italians killed 150 Ethiopians in airborne raids.

Furthermore the Italians long resented the Ethiopians for defeating and humiliating them in the battle of Adowa and Mussolini long sought to re-write the history between the two nations.
So no your little Marehan bum askari had no role. At least nothing more than being a foot soldier for the Italians like the 1000s of others they gathered from South Somalia by force and Eritrea. The Ethiopians killed thousands of them.
All of these are South Somali slaves fighting for the Italians in Ethiopia. All of them met their Lord never to return.
Please keep your embarrassing feel-good kitchen stories to yourself and stop glorifying some mere askaris who just fired random shots on behave of their Italian masters.

Following your masters; mere askaris don't start anything, they march behind the master

RIP

Trust the f-king boon marehan to dig up the story of one of their boon brethren working in service of colonial Italy and somehow, out of no where, manage to make the claim this ignoble boon no one has ever heard of started WWII
Do these people have no shame?
This is beyond boon marehan low self-esteem and inferiority complex. It seems their hunter-gatherer heritage is really f-king with them mentally.

Re: The fort of Walwal and the incident that set off a chain reaction leading up to world war 2
loooooool these people are ridiculous kulaha his askari foot soldier serving the Italians bare-footed started the Italo-Ethiopian war when the Italians and Ethiopians were at war even way before 1896 (Eritrea occupation, Eritrea was an Ethiopian province first annexed by the Ottoman Empire especially the coastline then handed to the Egyptians before the Italians made it their base).
Their ignorance is amazing.
Again Italy had many reasons to not only invade Ethiopia (as the last territory in Africa free off Europeans, Liberia was semi-American colony), but they wished to re-write their previous humiliation suffered under Atse Menelik and his army.
Adwa was recognised by the Europeans as the greatest African victory against European nation in the modern times. They all laughed at Italy.
Kulaha:
Shots have been fired all over East Africa since the invention of cannons, artillery, rifles and machine guns. We don't need to mention the Portuguese, the Ottomans, the various Europeans, but we even know Menelik had 100,000 modern rifles in the 19th century long before this mere askari (mercenary) was even born.

Even the greatest Ogaden conqueror, the father of Haile Selassie, showed of his collections long before his Boon hunter gatherers even heard of guns hence why the Abyssinians smashed them.
http://blog.raselijah.com/wp-content/up ... 6148_n.jpg
To make matter worse their little paragraph was written by some Nigerian who was born in 1939
Not only Nigerian would be clueless about east African affairs but he was born after the incident and only turned author 1976. He wrote that paragraph in 1985 probably to charm Barre.
While the sources I have provided are actual news of the day. Even we shared the front newspaper showing the Ogaden chief kissing the hand of Haile Selassie. It can't get more real than that.

The second italy-Ethiopian war is what this topic is about my friend, and Adan low fired the first shot which lead to the invasion and subsequent colonisation of Ethiopia.AwRastaale wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2018 3:08 pmYou already exposed your ignorance right there and I shouldn't even make fun of you. The soldiers in Wardheer were not gathered from south somalia they inhabited the region and were in open rebellion against the ethiopian empire.
Adan Low comes from a Rer Diini - Marehan subclan of Darood that inhabit the territory form Wardheer to Dhusamareb this is roughly 100km stretch of land.
Adan Low, Mohamed Siad Barre, and Farmaajo are all close related cousins which is why you hate them, infact you hate not only Marehan, but Somalia. Yet this topic has nothing to do with you.

Adan Low is a decorated war hero, admired by Somalis for spurring on the devastating annexation of Ethiopia which we Somalis and especially Reer Wardheer benefited from tremendously at the time, Gaalo gaalo kale baa loogu yeera.

As for the italian empire, they greatly recognize the involvement of Adan Low and created a monument made from the tree he fired the first shot from. There are pictures of this all over the internet.
Adan low later became a politician working for Somali unity and the Somali state. He held ministerial positions, constructed wells and schools, later he retired in Mogadishu.
do not insult our intelligence with your tirade of deep seated hatred for beesha barakaysan. This topic has nothing to do with you.
