Nowadays, you don't need big fancy infrastructure to call yourself a Government, a big hall with chairs (parliament), half dusty/half tarmac airport, derelict stadium, few ( roughly-uniformed) soldiers, a weak signal TV and radio to broadcast your rubbish, few (diaspora built) flats to boast, 19th century ports, and you're good to go. We should never depend on donations or even petrodollar if oil is ever discovered. We should become a nation that produces stuff, build our own roads, railroads, ports, cars etc. I don’t care if it takes 30 years. we are smart clever people. Moving away from begging and slowly work towards self sufficiency should be our primary goal.
