Loool Basra, Im not in a bad mood, really this is just how I am, a bitter feminist (oops I said the dirty word).....and my point is that we are never really free if we continue to believe that we have to answer to man before God, that if I commit a bad deed I must fear man as well as God, who made them above me? I am lucky enough to be free in my house, but it makes me angry to read that I shouldnt be. Honestly, what should the men in my family "do" to me if slip up?

In Europe:
Nothing as we have to accept the term and condition to remain in their land.
The least they will do is to disown you!!!! if they are somali.
In somalia:
We would have beat and then throw you to the hyena

Is that a mentality based on cultural and tribal honour killing in the name of the family? What happened to the notion of personal respnsibility? How happens to about if the person was a guy? He is a stud, right?

She said "do something about it" and from what I have seen and heard, many backward men use aversion therapy to control women, in the form of physical/mental punishment, and I felt that this post was calling out for that.
I have the ability to dial 999, but I dont need to, .......if my partner were the type to control me because he thinks God told him to however.....

If he was a man, I would have prevented him to marry anyone from my extended familly and friends family.
Or to the extend of respectable somali familly.
