I know somalis in general are corrupt and cannot be trusted with money be it a sheikh, chief or humanitarian, our kryptonite is currency. However there is no way of spinning this, no doubt the cadaan guy would be more productive then any somali named for that position but regardless this is inexcusable and a giant L for the administration.
Hopefully it's not true tho or I pray they come to their gotdaam senses asap.
The man don't even have experience nor a economic diploma. Also he was part of Soma oil. Nabad iyo nolol are amazing yesterday Haysom got kicked out for not respecting somalia's sovereignty today they are defending this cadaan who has no experience whatsover. They even f-king changed the constitution for this white man. Only 17 mps refused rest got bribed. The pm made a party for the mps tonight celebrating.
Sharafi dhimatay. Maxa ku dhacay somalidii they all turned into caado qaatayaal
While I am big supporter of many things the government has accomplished so far, there are two things in particular which left me feeling uneasy.
1) The 1 year fishing license to china
Who ever signed it needs to be tried wallahi, China is predatory nation and cannot be trusted. Every one of their deals is calculated with the other party always at the losing end. By the time the deal expires, they would have done 10 years worth of fishing in 12 months. Let us ask how things are going for the people of Madagascar smh
2) appointing foreigners to lead the central bank
Never mind my obsession with conspiracies (economic hitman) and so on, but this move sets a bad precedent for obvious reasons. I thought kicking out the UN envoy was an excellent decision and step towards the right direction and then I get punched in the gut by this news.
Those are the biggest hiccups so far and N&N need to straighten things out moving forward, we cannot afford to be derailed by hasty decisions.
