I don’t think you guys know what’s going on in somali politics. Somaliland declared independence in the wake of complete anarchy in the south as a base to rebuild and take power in Somalia. President Egal never believed in recognition but was building for a take over. After his unexpected death dahir riyaale became president. We saw an opportunity in the late 2000s to actually get recognition because somalia looked done for. We went for it and it came to an end around 2011 12. That’s door was shut and the upper echelon know that. We have been gearing up for our political and military control of somalia for a few years now. The UAE deal is shit on the surface but there is a lot of things under the table that we will be getting in terms of military training and equipment that are not disclosed for UN reasons. The deals are also not legally binding as we are not a recognised country.
