Bariis iyo hilib even if I was in Ethiopia I would have attended. Also ahmed shide is our allie in Ethiopia we have to support our dir brothers.

" iyo inaanu bani Haashim nahay" weeye . And Saalax died in late 1930s , his poetry was from 1900-1930 and lived in east Africa and Aden for a long time. Had you made this post a month ago while you were in Burco i would have directed you to one xaasid Gadh iyo Badhi that has his book contaning around 43 poems collected by the late Sheekh Siciid Maydh in the 30s.

I am not sure he could be the son of Siciid Maydh , siciid Maydh lived in the eraly 1900 to maybe 1940s. I don't believe he reached the 1980s.
