It is a Hutu problem or maybe Xamar is too big to harbor Terrorists networks .One thing I doubt not is that Shabaab pays a hell of a money to it is networks within the ranks of security forces .And the fear factor is at play .people naturally are forced to stay "no eyes ,no ears " to avoid the wrath of the head choppers .

If you don't go out and fight the enemy in their stronghold then expect them to frustrate you in your own homestead .I may still support Farmajo but his administration did no tangible progress against Shabaabs

I hate to say it but I can’t help but feel that this is a curse decreed from Allah on this city as it was a place where crimes against humanity were openly boasted about and promoted.

The perpetrators of these crimes are now living large, dropped their AK47, looted a nice suit form the closest department store and have become politicians.

Btw, Xamar isn’t a Hawiye city-it’s the capital so it’s cosmopolitan and many of the victims hail from clans not native to the city.

I'm a friend to his second cousin on Facebook .He told me that it took him a whole nights to convince Hutu friends about the legitimacy of Iidoor secessionist ideologies when he stayed in Xamar .He seemingly held a high regard for Godane and at times even called him Mujaahid .

I doubt not he's among the hundreds of iidoor fanatics sent to Xamar to do jihaad of all kinds .So,it no secret iidoor fanatics and secret agents add salt to the injury of Xamar .

Xamar was hawiye city prior to independence now all clans live there but the majority is actually Raxanweyn and Bantu hybrid. Ask me about it, I was just there in January 2019.

If Xamar is a Hawiye city, it will no longer serve as the capital of Somaliweyn. Actually, at this rate Xamar won’t exist because of the endless bombings that have crippled that shithole. Focus on that instead of an imaginary Jeberti boogeyman.
