Djibouti believing in Somali unity , the first Somali region to reject Somali unity urge others for unity while opting out the hypocrisy. Also Eritrea the nation that fought almost 50 years to have their on country.

None of them really matter , what matters is the owners of the real state Somaliland citizens and majority believe in Somaliland nationhood.

You've got nowhere to go....the secessionists dream is over.

The best they can get is a new north south confederation with the political capital moved to Hargeisa.

I would fully support such a position.

North and south confederation we know whose dreaming. Somaliland had never had it soo good. The military base is close to completion with the runaway roughly 70% percent finished.

Dp world contract even doh it might not been good percentage what the goverment got but it has opened somaliland to s whole new world.

Berbera is currently going through a boom. It was hargeisa before now berbera is where all the construction companies will relocate. Al harbi flour factory is close to complete and countless hotels and free zones.

Somaliland is also seen booming in other place like berbera corridor the erigabo to burco road. Maydh port project will commence. Hargeisa 50 million water projected. Also after the parliament election somaliland will propelry recieve more investment base like a berbera dry dock and more factories. The livestock to Saudi should open up. The UAE will invest in 5 star hotels and hospitality. Farming is receiving big boost now to export.

Fair fishing is building fish market and repairing centre.

Gold mining and minerals companies will start extracting minerals. So when we past thinking about somalia and and signing deals was our mission from the beginning l.

P.s Reer Somaliland I truly believe this Somalia unity lovers are searching for a loophole to safe the cause and they see reer somaliland as their hope.

When they constant producing their shenanigans is to keep hope ups and the only way they seem to cling on is constantly attack somaliland. But they havnt learned is somaliland is more United than the south, they have more of a goal than the south, they see progress and achievement. Basically Somaliland started everything from 1991 and has been going from strength to strength wheres south is getting into some much international meddling that sometimes you dont know who runs the south is it gabre, is the amison leader, is museveni, is the Unsom, is it kheyre, is abiy Ahmed, is ismaciil Omar gelleh, just who runs the south.

Too much question is the reason why the seek answer and one the answer is Somaliland to save them.

Marka dont be harsh on them, they just need you to help them out.

You're deflecting as usual AwAmxara

If you really think we will abandon Somaliland after all we went through since 1961 then you are clearly delusional.

Secondly, we all know you're looking for attention and a pat on the back from Walaweyns. You are truly miserable.

Xildiiid you make no sense.

The fact that you can't even use my username shows how childish and angry you truly are hahaha.

I bet you be excited if Abiy wanted Waqooyi to unit with Ethiopia and the new navy in Berbera.

AwAmxara,

You are deflecting again..

I have never supported Ethiopia and Ive always stated that once Somaliland regains her sovereignty the next battle would be Hawd.

Our ambitions are higher than being a vassal state or satellite to another country.

We are Djibooty nor failed state Zoomalia.

Bihi visit was about that as we all knew. It's also true last week the EU came for the same reasons as did Eritrean FM. Guelleh also paid visit to Mogadishu to push for same agenda.

Camp ictiraaf is getting more isolated especially the Ethiopian stance will hurt them deep. For years they thought Ethiopia both loved them and feared United Somali Republic.

Ethiopia awaits EU signal to engender Somaliland, Somalia dialogue

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (ADV) – Ethiopian Prime minister Abiy Ahmed is awaiting a European Union input to boost reconciliation initiative between Somalia and Somaliland, ADV learns here Sunday.

Last week, delegates from several EU countries visited Hargeisa and held a discussion with Somaliland leader on the prospects of a dialogue between Somalia and Somaliland and the way forward.

The delegates’ meeting stems from the efforts by the Ethiopian Premier Aby Ahmed to reconcile Somalia and the self-proclaimed republic of Somaliland in a bid to bolster peace in the Horn of Africa.

Somaliland broke away from Somalia during the protracted war that erupted after the death of Said Barré, the founder of present-day Somalia and the advent of several armed groups including Al-Shabaab with the intent to create an Islamic state.

This complex politico-military situation has drawn the interests of superpowers into the Somali political landscape and compounded the situation.

With the advent of Aby Ahmed’s administration, he has vowed to install peace throughout the Horn of Africa with a focus on the Somali-Somaliland conflict as well as the Ethiopian-Eritrean crisis that has known some success

Speaking last week at Jigjiga town during a meeting with the leaders of Ethio-Somali regional state, Abiy underscored that he will work on missions to stabilize horn of African region.

“Acting on your call last year about the issue of Somalia and Somaliland, my government started efforts to broker dialogue between Somalia and Somaliland. The two sides are vital development and security of the region,” said PM Abiy.

Aby’s remarks come barely a month after Somaliland leader, and Muse Bihi Abdi visited Addis Ababa following an invitation by the Ethiopian government.
The sides discussed regional peace and integration, in addition to bilateral ties, sources told ADV.

Bihi had acknowledged Abiy’s efforts to consolidate regional integration and accepted the premier’s call to further strengthen the close working relationship between the Somaliland Administration and Federal Government of Somalia.

After the meeting between Somaliland leader and PM Abiy, Somali government applauded Somaliland’s president Bihi for his cooperation.

It was following that meeting that it was agreed that Somalia and Somaliland would resume talks after input from the European Union which is backing the Somalia-Somaliland peace and reconciliation process.

In 2014, the Federal Government of Somalia and Somaliland signed another accord following three-day talks moderated by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

The two sides agreed on the continuation of the talks facilitated by Turkey but a month later Somaliland rescinded its decision and accused Turkey of supporting Somalia against Somaliland.
I brothers in the north are always closer to us than some black and white kafirs, we respect our brothers wishes of seceding but the matter is complicated as it is not unanimous decision, and it does not benefit Somali progress, this limbo we are currently in is eventually going to come to an end, but we should make the most of it on both sides while it last.
