My salary is 44K after tax.FarhanYare wrote: Sat May 25, 2019 8:53 am 35k pound that's 80k in my currency. I don't think I will be earning that much.. Anyway, my cousin's council one bedroom home baan la dagi lahaa till my 2yr visa expires so I doubt I will spend all my money on living cost. What is your annual salary in pound?

Once I was with some daarod relatives in a mall. Then a guy they knew came and said a qarax happened in xamar. Kulaha i wish 5000 die so i can sleep good in the night.. walahi true story.
I quickly punched him in the face, breaking his nose. Before my relatives intervened.

You should consider it. Take a chance, best of luck hun.FarhanYare wrote: Sat May 25, 2019 6:44 am I cook sometimes, but if am working late shift I tend to buy take away. There are no attractive single somali women here, unlike London sxb, also we are not like Londoners who tend to live closer together whether be same suburb or same tower block. Therefore, I would imagine it would be easy to mingle. I have got a job in London, am considering moving there

That is an undeniable scientific fact.sahal80 wrote: Fri May 24, 2019 10:39 pm![]()
some times you find in the mosque funny duqooshim the funniest was one in weysada section he said "caku hawiye meelwalbe qoyaaneey ka dhigaan" heard another one talking about the expelled UN envoy "wallee hawiyihii wadankii gaaley u dhiibeen"
And I when I look at them they would say oo adigu ma hawiyaad aheed? Me looking away clearing my throat ahem

Btw the odey was referring to one hawiye man who was sitting there before him he could be right about that guy though I'm not sure about the guy before him but why mention qabiil in the mosque and generalizing it?

I dont care what's the person's qabiil I will never say this in a mosque.

^ Sahal, waxaas dhan ani ma layaabayo waxaan ka imaadey Mudug oo salaada marka LA tukanaayo xitaa markuu imaanka faataxada ku dhameeyo 'waldhaaliin', the level of alto iyo sotto voce you say amin with, is always contingent upon the imaanku qabiilkiisa. This means hadii uu imaanka yahey a fellow clans man, ma ka xasdeysid ee on the top of your lungs baa amin u dhaheysaa, hadiise uu, God forbid, kasoo jeedo a rival qabiil, be sparing and say amin with a barely audible tone of voice.

These stories seem a little outlandish. No matter their fudaydnimo, Somalis waa dad xishoodo. I can't picture that being said in a Mosque to be honest. Maybe outside the Mosque with a group of guys whose clans he knows. I have heard talk like that in restaurants though

Wallahi if I heard anyone talk like that about Marehan, I would have looked him dead in this and been like adeer anaa Marehan ah.
My family all have af adag, I remember one time tmy brother overhead this guy saying Mareexaankaan xoolihi dawlada soo dhacay, and my brother said adeer adiga dawladaan wax haka dhicin

Somalis are naturally racist.
Once I was in the airport transit on my way to Hargeysa. I met 2 guys 1 was Ogaden, he was cool. The other guy I forget his clan. But as soon as we met he started talking about Silanyo who was the leader at the time. He started dissing my clan not knowing who I was, I listened for a bit. Then I thought enough is enough. So I confronted him.
Dude was shocked he quickly switched it up and started praising Silanyo and my subclan. After that he felt embarrassed and sit on another table.
