tplf had no choice but to leave power seeing as oromia and ethiopia overall was becoming ungovernable for them (next was economic collapse due to oromo struggle), when no-one in oromia, including the militias, police, soldiers of oromo origin, refused to obey, as before.

they simply did not have the strength to occupy and colonize oromia without the help of OPDO, who finally woke up and rose up against their oppressors.

Ethiopia is one hell of a potential blood bath with all the land disputes. Oromo amhara, Oromo Somali, amhara tigray, tigray afar, afar somali. I reckon we'll see one hell of a consolidation of power and an end to ethic kilils by abiye. There will be blood.

Rightwing, horumarka geeska Afrika iyo dawlad dhexe oo Amxar hogaminiya isku ma xidhno. In fact I would argue quite the contrary, Amhar leadership is detrimental to the development of the region. Any meaningful change, either politically or developmentally, happened after Amhar dethronement.

Oromo is the new super power of The horn , any one who don't realize this is committing suicide. No body can stop the Oromos , for many reasons , they brought the revolution and paid heavy price , they are the largest ethnic group. they are all United and they were oppressed for years so this is their golden erra . The horn community should kindly work with the new champions or deal with the consequences. I think the Oromos should teach lesson to any ethnic community against the revolution. Be it amhara, tigray or somali. Declare war on any one against you . Ethiopia is already cursed and blessed at the same time , it will always be in trouble so you will either be the oppressor or the oppressed.

Well,well, i have predicted this scenario ages ago. It happened before my prediction, which was after election. Now, gloves are off between Centralist Amharas and Zulu Gaalas, and neither of them are going to back down.
Intersting times ahead between the two. as far as Tigres concerned they're king-makers now as they can tip the balance of power.
Somalis should get the popcorn and enjoy it.

Why do you think Lemma magarsa chose the Ministry of defence portfolio?
He could have easily got two large dockets i.e Finance or Foreign relations.
Lemma the sick bastard is behind this they killed the Amhara refiomal president and top military brass in the region who were not Oromo and blamed it on nationalistic Amharas.Just like last time they blamed OLF on bank robberies and used airoplanes to bomb it.
