Yet Farmajo sent warlord Barre Hiraale to Gedo to do his dirty work.Voltage wrote: Mon Sep 02, 2019 7:43 pm And he started with his own Marehan ina adeer
Janan is reer Ahmed who are one of the most powerful sub-clans in Gedo. They straddle from Dollow to Beled-Xaawo and are particularly heavily armed. This is how Janan become the power boss of northern Gedo in recent times.
Over the weeekend I have come across a lot of Marehan who are cautious and warn the potential of inter-clan civil war if this isn't handled properly.
Fiqi tolki kama jano tago...our Somali history has been to back our clan even in bad and have our clan back us even in bad.
If Farmaajo handles this properly, it is a game changer and a warning to any other human rights abuser.
It says maybe we have moved on from civil war and have forgiven the warlords since we ALL took part in the civil war, but going forward any other human rights abusers will be held accountable

We can't budge on Madoobe.......this is all about power.
For Somali's power is always taken......it is never given.
Madoobe is the legitimately elected president of JL....Somali style of course.
Who gets elected in Somalia anyway?
Madoobe just has to hold his nerve and face Farmaajo and his hagite handlers down.

Amnesty international makes reports about everyone from the usa to kenya to somalia even somaliland and puntland it means nothing.
The man was simply arrested for not abandoning madoobe and joining his clansmen. Then credibility of farmajo is completely finished so stop talking as if your clan interests are national interests. Just sii badeedah qabilkaga tageer and whatever pound of flesh farmajo can get you. This is a huge miscalculation for marexaan if i was marexaan i would be fuming. There is no way you will hold onto the chair in mogadishu amd it might be longer than the 30 year wait for you to sit back on it again. There is also no conceivable reality in which you will be jubaland president. I pity your future

I think Farmaajo knows he's finished politically.
He is using what time, resources and influence he has left to deliver Kismayo and with it JL to his clansmen.
This is no different to what every Somali president has done since Abdulqasim salad.
This may backfire as Janaan is from Gedo and Farmaajo point men on JL are from Galgaduud.......they have no roots in Gedo and want to turn Kismayo into their own fiefdom.

Re: Amnesty International Welcomes Janaan’s Arrest Says Big Step..
The only card left is to order kenya out of amisom (Then you'd have to hope they leave which they wont they entered without the amisom mandate and madoobe has made deals with them) and then use ethiopia to squash madoobe. In this reality its perfect for irirists as there will be a vaccum of power which farmajo wont be able to fix in the year he has left. This will give us a chance to recraft jubaland without foreign backlash.
You should have never messed with OGs you will have hell to pay over the next few years.

I’ve criticized N&N’s disastrous Security record on many occassion ask people like Abkowdhiblaawe and sahal. I was against Roobows arrest and made threads about it. That being said as someone who’s a Jubbalander (Reer Luuq/Baardheere), I think people like Madoobe, Sh Shareef, Dahir Aweis have had their run as ‘Islamists’ ‘Sheikh’ etc.
I personally support an Absame technocrat with a solid education, and experience in civil administration. Madoobe could get an applause for being the 1st administrator but overall I think people of his type had their run in Somalia. I hope a neutral in the middle candidate comes. The current stalemate as I mentioned helps nobody.
Xamar is different. Eng Yariisow Allah Yar7amu was a technocrat, and was savagely betrayed. Xamar doesn’t need a technocrat but someone who’s mean and has awood.

You're such a broken record, do you notice how Murax ignored you time and time again though you keep repeating clearly anti-MX provocations at him?original dervish wrote: Tue Sep 03, 2019 3:44 am They weren't getting anything anyway.
Hardly any ngos are present in Kismayo.
You have to understand Farmaajo and his handlers do not want to see JL/Kismayo progress under a united Darood leadership.
They have been fooling certain elements of mx that they can have Kismayo as their own in order to continue instability in the region.
Wallahi I love Murax. Literally no one knows how to put people in their place without sullying his dignity better than him.

Listen sxb......you guy's are collectively losing your damn minds over this Kismayo nonsense.
I'm just posting my pov on a public forum.....anti mx doesn't come into it.
Your agenda has been flushed out into the open.....that is to use foreign power to install you into Kismayo. It failed and here you are losing your tiny damn mind.

Lol Voltage its a losing proposition soo maaha?
A) If he’s really Dhulbahante then he is no offense a Puzzie with no dhiig
B) If he’s not and scared to release his clan on a online forum of all places he’s a Puzzie
Zero sum game, so whats the point of even acknowledging him. He’d might as well be a robot

Marehan lives in half the districts of Jubbaland exclusively, and shares 1/4 of the rest with other clans. We are literally prominent in 75% of the districts of the Stateoriginal dervish wrote: Tue Sep 03, 2019 12:42 pm Listen sxb......you guy's are collectively losing your damn minds over this Kismayo nonsense.

There have been TWO occasions since the ICU was removed from Kismaayo by Ethiopia where clans fought over the city without ANY foreign troops and in BOTH occasions Marehan was the victor for control of the city.
Sooner or later, both Kismayo and Jubbaland will fall in our hands completely. That I am completely confident about.
As far as your HAG blah blah blah, if YOU are Darod with me, I would choose HAG over you any day of the week.
Take that to the bank.
I don't even know why we have given your negative provocations any response since we are Jubbaland PERSONIFIED more than any other clan in Somalia, but consider this my last ever response to you on this issue.
Your obsession with our position in Jubbaland is COMPLETELY disproportionate to your relevance on the subject.

His negative obsession with us and Jubbaland when we are the single most important clan in the State is completely DISPROPORTIONATE to how relevant he is on the matter.

Murax, this guy's example here actually reminds me of this Majerten/Cusman Maxamuud fadhi ku dirir guy in the city.
He yaps and yaps about the Jubbaland issue in front of a Marehan restaurant near a Somali mall. Wallahi they all ignore him. One day this infamous reer Dalal oday finally said to him "do you see anyone responding to you? This isn't the Morgan days where things were upside down. Go and live in Kismaayo town as a civilian if you want, but these guys live from Kismaayo town all the way up to the Ethiopian border. They don't care about what you have to say because you're just not relevant to them."
Sheekadaas is happening here.

Voltage,
Yea in any event pretender or not, he’s irrelevant. Look at Starkfast the Cisse Maxamuud MJ Dudes comment in the Sanaag thread: “OD, Grow a back bone.
Further more most of DH need to grow a backbone.
You are the same as the Palestinians but with one difference you would never ever see a Palestinian appeasing their Israeli colonisers.
Disgrace. You know the deal – no point myself repeating myself.
inate ass quit the forum!
“
Babygirl our queen also woulda straightened his feminine ass out
On another note whats happening in Kismaayo has so many layers then Marexaan, Ogadeen etc isn’t it funny how people are not seeing the bigger picture? Django really thinks Farmaajo has secret SADE battle plans he’s hiding under his bed Lol. If they want to use the narrative he’s power hungry and is trying to become a reincarnation of MSB AUN, you know what I’ll even give you that for arguments sake. But really the clan narratives are out of control. Its well documented how Farmaajo told MR Caggo Dhigo I’m not promoting a MR Jland President.

Re: Amnesty International Welcomes Janaan’s Arrest Says Big Step
I am telling you sxb. Not a single hair on Janan would have been touched if the Ethiopians hadn't consented. There was a time Meles Zenewi personally favored Janan over every single person in Somalia. You have no idea how he would be invited to Zenawi every once in a while and given cases of money to 1.) bring Marehan sub-clans out of Shabaab and 2.) build a Marehan paramilitary that would hunt any alleged Al Shabab sympathizers.Talo alle udaa wrote: Mon Sep 02, 2019 10:24 pm The news I am hearing is the guy was duped by Ethiopian forces who requested talks.
When Shabaab controlled everything up to the Ethiopian border, there was not a place more important to them than the buffer zone in Dollow and there was no region that caused them more worry than Gedo considering they spent a good part of the 90's fighting Al Itihad there.
At that time no one believed Shabab was as weak or dysfunctional as we have come to find out. We all thought they were like the Taliban of East Africa with that level of unity and organization that continues to even overcome US forces.
As a result of that, this guy was prized and he still was until recently.
In my opinion, the most important conclusion to draw from Janan's arrest is the level of cooperation between the new Ethiopian government and Farmaajo gov and the fact that Ethiopia has sent a strong message that Kismayo understands; they are opposed to Madoobe and anyone who sits with him is considered a political enemy of Ethiopia.
They showed their cards where Madoobe and his group are concerned. Otherwise I assure you, not a single hair on Janan would have been touched.
The Marehan in my city used to have a nickname for him; "Carrab Amxaar".
Carrab because he has a heavy tongue which he flicks a lot and Amxaar because of his agent status. Everytime he talked it meant Amxaaradi baa hadashay!
