Dir may be scattered in Somalia but they surely have the numbers, and authority, in Ethiopia. They are the power brokers and leaders in DDS. Surely, I was, still am, disappointed with Gurgura and Gadabursi during the overthrow of Heego and its aftermath ( these two clans conspire against Ciise to this day), but that comes with the territory of being top dog in DDS. It doesn’t phase us.

In short, I would rather have meaningful presence in Ethiopia, with or without its current form, than that of a clown state called Somalia, including Sambusa land.

Djibootys population is less than that of Maroodi Jeex in Somaliland so try to put things into perspective when you’re making baseless statements.

With that said, we couldn’t care less about Ethiopia. We have a bigger fish to fry. However when Isaaq had a stake in Ethiopia, we were part of the top echelon of the Derg with Isaaq being the chairman of the communist party, minister of information and Mengistus personal adviser. The richest man in Ethiopia at that time was also an Isaaq man.
