Poor judgement that kind of cements the overall picture the people of Somaliland have of the current administration in Somalia . They live in the past as remnants of the brutal and genocidal Siyad Barre regime , we look to the future as self determined and free .
This former colonel of the somali army under SiyadBarre burned people alive as well as drowning others to their death in my region of Gabiley. Everyone knows or have heard of him . I hope he finds his peace with Allah the same way we have found ours with the regime he has killed for . This is not a warlord or a civil war figure . This is a former colonel of the military of a once established country who was rounding up civilians , torturing and killing them on mere suspicion without due process .
