So here is another moan from our moaner in chief Voltage, this time unreservedly campaigning for the removal of KDF from Somalia. Did he forget that the so-called Somali parliament in fact voted unanimously to remove the Kenyan troops from Somalia back in 2015? What happened? Why are they still here? Was he in a hibernation state with his uncle Barre Hiiraale in Muqdisho under the protection of the Ugandans and Burundians? Now when he realized how helpless and futile his uncle Failmaajo is, here comes another suggestion; let us vote the Kenyans out via the parliament. So whatever happened to the airspace blockage? Not only did the Kenyans flew in unmolested, but they also equated your uncle to “Islaan uunsata”. If I were your uncle Failmaajo, I would resign immediately. A human being shouldn't take more abuse than that. The word on the street is that the Kenyans are also planning to close the border along Gedo to show, again, how helpless your so-called government is and how FailMaajo has no leverage on anything.Voltage wrote: Sun Oct 13, 2019 1:10 pm Someone with small minded grudge against the government for bypassing Xawaadle elders to remove troops from Beled-Weyne has been on a witch hunt against Farmaajo even ridiculously insinuating the Somali parliament will take up impeachment motion predicted just from worthless Abshir Bukhaari's presence in Kismaayo.![]()
Fortunately Somali parliament doesn't run on the small minded petty tribal grudges.
Word has reached me THINGS ARE SPEEDING UP.
Originally the Somali Parliament was to take up and vote on a motion asking Kenya to remove its troops IF Kenya did not accept the ICJ verdict (provided Somalia won the court case).
HOWEVER, because of the violation of Somalia's airspace by Kenya and the presence of Kenyan officials in Kismaayo as a result of that, PARLIAMENT HAS DECIDED TO TAKE UP THAT MOTION NOW!
As a show of unity, the motion will be introduced jointly by representative from all 5 Federal States.
The Parliament will also FORMALLY CONDEMN the participants of the Kismaayo charade as having worked in the interest of Somalia's enemies.
If the Parliament votes to remove Kenyan troops from Somalia, the Somali Government will OFFICIALLY ask the African Union to remove Kenya from AMISOM.
I am told IGAD (led by Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Eritrea) will also at that point signal "strong support" for the position of the Somali Gov.
Official legitimacy will be lost for Kenya at that point; any presence of Kenyan troops in Somalia at that point will be considered an invasion.
Things will be speeding up faster than we originally assumed (really because of the reer baadiye nature of Kenya's actions---they don't even know how to interfere effectively).![]()
