I know some guy's who joined sna in Mog and were deployed to Gedo.
Apparently its a shit show.....not enough rations or equipment. Most the new recruits were abandoned by the "sna" which is a mx clan militia.
They walked to Kismayo through Shabaab territory....half of them being recruited.
My cuz use to get calls all the time he was in Kismayo from shabaab....offering him $3000 to be a Shabaab field commander. In the end we sent him some money and he flew to mog.
Ps the "sna" in Kismayo is basically an OG militia.
