Re: Hows it going SNetters?
I think my addiction to SNET was eliminated in 2018.
I got a new job and I couldn't log into this website so naturally the only time I'd check was on evenings or weekends.
BTW, Gurey, whats your take on COVID-19?

I think covid 19 is a serious issue but not as scary as it's made out to be.
What makes it a little frightening is the incubation period , you can be infected and have no symptoms for upto two weeks enough to further infect dozens of people.
It's exponential growth is what worries me.
The other thing is the pneumonia , I've had what my doctor described as one of the most severe cases of pneumonia last year and I fought it off without hospitalization but I was in bed for 2 weeks.
I know my parents probably won't survive something that severe.
The way coronavirus is today it will Kill a tiny fraction of the population.
I am worried about a future mutations of coronavirus that would cause an immune system overdrive like the Spanish flu.
Now that fucker if it hits in the future will probably kill half a billion people at least and destroy the world economically and politically.
A world changing moment.
Covid 19 won't change the world but it shows the future and it's scares the shits out of me.

I don't think it's manufactured , it's been around for yearsgrandpakhalif wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2020 12:05 pm Gurey whats your take on corona virus manificatured pandemic?
This is the latest iteration.
Don't concern yourself about covid the little hints about what's been developed as bioweapons will stop you from sleeping at night.
And you want to know what's worse?
Just like mobile phones the equipment to produce these bioweapons have shrunk enough to fit in your garage.
So we will never see it comming , a world ending pandemic can come from anywhere, an accident at a government lab, or even some crazy cult in a barn,
Or a lone crazy working alone.

It’s all good abti. I have been planning for a post Trump presidency. I am looking to move to Mozambique, Uruguay or NZ.
My current main squeeze wants me to move to NZ but I am on the fence. It seems so far away and isolated. I’d lose it living on an island where I can’t venture that far

I agree with what you said, but AUS is getting equally difficult to get a good job or maybe it's just me lol.

I have side businesses that allow me to work remotely so I wouldn’t need to find a local job or could take a shitty one until I became a citizen.

Green Gaajo! I love it! How’s Perth? I got some kin out there but it seems to be so distant from all the other major cities

I've been living in Birmingham since 2018 and never been to kiwi land .
About covid19 shit is getting real , I've had 7 close family members confirmed to have it all under 40 with mild symptoms.
One of them didn't even know he had it and thought it would was a 48 hour cold. Got tested because his flatmate was hospitalized.
Then again 3 others distant family and friends in their 60's and 70's died last week from it.
What's worrying is that there are several strains floating around including what appears to be one causing cytokine storm that targets healthy immune systems ,
Explains why young healthy people have been dying as well as young as , ,14 and 21 with no underlying health problems.
But we all know that's it's qadar, your time is already written, this makes us think about mortality.
Good news is that at the early stage first couple of days ,
Chloroquine malaria drug works very well along with antibiotics to prevent and fight pneumonia.
Get access to that and you can survive without ventilators emergency rooms are full anyway and you probably will not get a chance.
Sadly this is well known and there is hoarding at a high level stocks of chloroquine are disappearing around the world.
