Why do you guys keep inviting Ali Mahdi to speak at these conferences? He low key gives it a bad look.

Dahir Geelle should be the only Mudulood running to be Somalia's president

He probably has the best chance of winning but than I don’t want a candidate supported by Saudi Arabia and UAE. I rather have one closer to Turkey and Qatar. The most neutral Mudulood candidate who is friendly with all sides is probably Sheikh Sharif while Hassan Sheikh has the backing of Turkey.

But isn't it the case that the current president as well as former presidents don't get reelected so what I would say is either Dahir Geelle or another new face should work to have warm relations with ALL foreign countries before the election starts

Inviting former/current warlords or criminals to conferences isn't unique to a certain clan. They are considered heroes by their clans. But if I were Ali Mahdi, I would retire from public appearance and pave the way for the new generation to lead the country. That would be common sense.
