i can't imagine the OP's brazen and wild ambition of supporting this madness. Mogadisho is well known for overthrowing Barre, who had the most sophisticated weapons of then, chasing Ethiopian troops with the same weapons. Why would you think a man who have not all these would suppress The indigenious Mogadishans?

I think the IC has to interfere this mad man's balatant ambition. This confrontation is beyond madness. If it escalates into full-blown war doesn't he know that geographically he's in trouble. How long can he sustain the war?

This isn't 1991. I could right now post a bullet list of over 30 key differences but I'm too lazy. But I've seen intelligent, thoughtful posts from you before so I know, you know 1991 is not the same situation. Please think realistically.

You,andThose at the helm should think realistically that subjugation and dictatorship won't work in 2020 Somalia. How can you use the word "realistic" when, most of sane people, know what's happening in Mogadisho right now is far from reality but a madness dream.

Friendly advice, tell your Adeers to run. Leave Xamar now before it’s too late. Go to Kismaayo under Kenyan protection like Madoobe and await word from your Emirs there. Or go to Kenya. Ama Edeb yeesha. Only those choices!

The fake nationalism of reer centralism (ilkoyars) is nauseating. I must never dare to forget what Saddam said here 'I would rather burn Somalia to the ground than cede my clan's interests'. Expect a 180 degree reversal if they ruled JL whilst a Kablalax became the federal president/PM.
