^ Hi there I'm not actually really bothered about clans but the reality is some clans/sub clans in Somalia are more hostile towards Somaliland than others are so you see where I am coming from

The choice for Somaliland is keep independence that we regained in 1991 and therefore keep the peace, democracy, development we have gained or return to the death, destruction and genocide that happened before 1991. What Somalilander in their right mind would throw away the blessings of independence to once again be infected with the poison of Somali unity

Are you implying that uniting with Sahal and the other "Anti-Faqash" elements within Somalia is in of itself a poison? Quite frankly, I just don't understand how in one mouth, you are a proponent of Irirism or at least, you support what Sahal represents, yet simultaneously you would not welcome the idea of sharing a country with Sahal and what he represents.

You can be friends with someone but not want to live in the same house with them. SL people want to stand on our own two feet

Not all Jebertis are bad and not all Hawiyes are good so I think generalizing of a whole group is not wise

What drives you to support the Federal Government or the Federal Administration over the Member States Administrations and the idea of Member States having far more autonomy from the Federal Administration?

For example, I know that the supporters of Farmaajo are proponent in curtailing the powers of the member States, but if Hassan Shiekh or someone from his circle was to be selected as president and someone from Farmaajo's circle was selected as president of Jubbaland or Galmudug or Puntland, then will that change your stance in supporting the Federal administration over the member States?

Fair question. First I want to defend against the narrative that Farmaajo is Anti Federalism. Last I checked Farmaajo was on good terms with 3/5 Federal States. What’s left are two, Puntland, Jubbaland.

Jubbaland Farmaajo was pushing an Ogadeen Mohamed Oomar, not an MX as President just FYI. Puntland politicians not the shacbi, are never happy with a MX in a top Federal position because it undermines their ability to get one through 4.5.

But overall you’re right depending on the context I may sway one way or the other based on qabil. That’s not right, but I try to catch myself most of the time. With Sahal it’s nothing to do with why do you hate Farmaajo, but I find it stubborn, childish when you cannot admit when you lost an argument. With that said I don’t attack him just make light jokes.

Exactly. That's our biggest downfall as Somalis. We generalize. If one man commits a crime, it is as though his entire clansmen has committed the crime. It's very savagery and cawanimo. Now, let me ask you this, you are a Somali. What's the need for YOU to not wanting to live in the same house as another Somali, say like, Sahal? Surely, the people of Somaliland are Somalis and they have the same tribal structure as the Somalis in Galbeed, Bari, Konfuur.

Fair answer! Farmaajo is not anti-Federalism, but he is also one that believes in curtailing these enormous sovereignty-like powers the Federal Member States want to bestow upon themselves. The issue here is you said "Jubbaland Farmaajo was pushing an Ogadeen Mohamed Oomar, not an MX as President just FYI." Do you think it is okay for someone in the Federal-level position to interfere in the political process of States, by pushing someone he feels like he shares the same political objectives to run the affairs of a State? This question is not a wrong or right, FYI, just a thought-provoking question. Furthermore, if Farmaajo (or anyone for that matter) who hails from Jubbaland (or whatever other -land that exists), sits on the 'iron throne' in Villa Somalia, does that mean that person has to willfully set aside all biases, thus he has to treat ALL member States equally, thus the people of Jubbaland (other any other State) are ultimately the ones that have to determine who will lead them locally without the approval or disapproval of the Somali President (whoever that maybe) sitting in Villa Somalia?

I'm not here to attack President Farmaajo, but I do see some errors in Somalia's political structure. I fee like we have not learned how to crawl, yet we want to run like Usain Bolt.
