The current fight was Ciise civilians/Somali Liyu versus Afar Liyu/Afar militia from 3 countries/Remnants of TPLF/Amhara zealots with ENDF assistance.
As for the Somali Liyu, Ciise has many recruits and officers. Up until recently, the second in command of the Liyu was Ciise. I think he left his post due to philosophical differences and lack of accountability by the organization in some incidences by rogue officers within the Liyu. That score will be settled at a later time though.
