You could have simply said:
"We are talking about Marehan lives that were unjustly taken. Why are you dishonoring them AND US with shit that has nothing to do with THEIR justice. Niman baa dilay waana naqaan, maxaa naga galay Fiqi iyo Ruush iyo Cali Baysteenkaad sheegeysid. Maxaa nimankeeni ladilay XAQOODA ka galay? "
That would have been honorable. Dignified even. I digress.

And why are you involving me in your beef with nomand, waxaaa tiri waa sheegato, aniguna waxaa iga rabtaa shaabad inaa ku dhufto miyaa ? wayahay shaabada qaado, and let me return to what my focus is, a holy war against the qowsaar.

Re: two fronts started by the Ogadeni foe
Qowsaar are indentured servants, especially then and now. Either from marginalized or oppressed groups, from periphery backgrounds and face insecurity and predation without strong protection, or destitute and cast off maybe even disinherited orphans.
In return for belonging, protection, and the network of a large kinship, they will seek out power large herd owners and become camel drivers for them.
No pay or compensation, just a guarantee for basic freedom to live. Indentured servitude at best forced on them from the most cruel hand that can be dealt any human.
The men who did this are not qawsaaro. They make qawsaaro.
Calling the slave owner a cottob picker only victimizes the slave not the slaver.
Your use of qawsaar in this manner is misinformed. Choose differently.

Re: two fronts started by the Ogadeni foe
Ogaden were our maids and house guards in Mogadishu, they are second class citizens in Ethiopia and Kenya, the definition fits them perfectly. The makahiil are the lowest of an already low species.Gubbet wrote: Tue Jun 08, 2021 8:24 am Qowsaar are indentured servants, especially then and now. during Adal era they were spies and snitches that is where their clan name comes from Ogaada became Ogaadeen, bal maxee soo ogadadeen tollow, how to be slaves.

Re: two fronts started by the Ogadeni foe
Makahil aren't a great threat to Sade. They are very weak as a subclan, even other cagdheers mock them in private and they lost their biggest foothold in Doollo to other Daroods. May Allah bring strength to the arms of our sons and nephews springing out to battle

Re: two fronts started by the Ogadeni foe
Its not all Hawiye, neither is it even all HG Sacad-Makahiil claim to be related to each other and there is some sort of alliance between the two. They call it "Walaalaha Wardheer" and Makahiil especially Ismaciil Gumcadle have tried to use Fiqi a Sacad as a tool against MX in Galmudug especially Reer Dalal whom the conflict is the main player. You see Walaalaha Galgaduud the alliance between Ayr and Reer Diini in the 2000s was the main catalyst for their sudden re infuatation. Its why you see Dahir Alasow always booty clapping for OG against MX.Gubbet wrote: Tue Jun 08, 2021 5:32 amExactly what has been said to bring you back to what sense?NGM wrote: Tue Jun 08, 2021 3:38 am Nomand waa runtaa walle seef la bood baa noqday baryahan you always bring me back to my senses, the real enemy is Hawiyo.
You said;
1. Ogaden/Liyu attacking Marehan in 5th Kilil.
2. Ogaden/KDF attacking Marehan between Diif-Garileey.
Now I am not at someone that can be called uninformed or a hippie when it comes to realpolitik in Somali clan issues (my understanding of Hawiye & Marehan relations is as clear as anyone's), but I fail to understand the relevance or pivot or your lack of sense about Hawiye, what was reintroduced to you by the 2nd post, that affected or changed anything about your original topic post.
It would be nice to contribute to my confusion.![]()
Its a complicated twist of alliances in Mudug and I can see what Nomand is trying to relay to us albeit he should have gone into detail.

Gubbet,
Nomand gives me Zanzibari vibes until Smile verifies him. I’ll stay neutral

'Carne di porco ed oumini di guerra durano poco', as an italian proverb has it.
