Phinks you lot ARE stealth secessionists but you're right to point out that your Puntland, like her neighbour the Republic of Somaliland, is not controlled by an Ethiopia that is today much weaker and unstable. If Said Deni becomes Somalia's next president I hope not only will Puntland become under the direct control of the FGS but that like Puntland the rest of ex Italian Somalia becomes peaceful and free from foreign interference

Break, I admit Puntland has played ball with Ethiopia, but everyone has to, whether Djibouti, Somaliand, Puntland etc. we don't really have a choice here when the South is chaotic and Ethiopia is the largest nation in the horn backed by the west, U.N, AU and IGAD, we can't be secessionists, Puntland gaining Independance is impossible, what we want is a government that respects the right for clans to determine their state MPs and not be under a clan fiefdom consolidating absolute power in Xamar, we don't want a repeat of Barre regime in the 80s.
