Per an OLA spokesman, a signing ceremony will be held in Washington DC in the coming days ushering in a new federalist coalition between 9 groups within Ethiopia, so called United Front of Ethiopian Federalist Forces. A Somali group, Somali State Resistance, will partake in the signing ceremony.

Truth be told, I do not like the smell of it. This is another way of TPLF pacifying Oromos and regaining their seat at the helm of Addis Ababa's government. Oromos are getting fooled yet again.

Nothing short of breaking up and dissolving Ethiopia would satiate my hunger for freedom. Short of that, co-federalism is the way to go.

Good question on sudan, the Communist led front led by Burhan is supported by america, the coup attempt by the deep state including Omar al bashir always opposed of the infiltration of the americans to sudan, but during the 90's and 00's they had no backer to help them fully stand up against america, so they always compromised when america pushed hard threatening sanctions etc ( eg when they asked to hand bin laden ). Now that the Russian and chinese are in full power and send assurance of full protection against the americans they attempted to take over but failed this time, but this won't be the last time. they will try again and again since the army is still mainly connected with the old regime. so in short in the Sudan it is an arm wrestle between the west Vs China and Russia.
