Beyle is a good man I too would retire in my own deegaan instead of an al shabaab infested mogadishu.

Dr. Beyle is still young to retire; he has at least 10 more years before he does. He might (if he can) go to his own deegaan for few to several weeks to visit family members, but there's no future staying there longer. Most people in his own deegaan would tahriib if they could, as life is harsh, cost of living too high, with high unemployment rate, poor basic & health services, drought & unpredictable climate prone, etc. Even the ruling elites of the region send their family members to live in the Gulf, Europe and other places.
