They (Ogaadeen)are well aware of that themselves. Their time in JL is numbered Hassan sheik is freeing Hawiye land and improving diplomatic relations before he comes gun blazing into Kismayo (Hawiye land), Opposite of what farmaajo tried to do. Kenya has a new president, and so does Somalia EA is shifting and people are starting to be more aware instead of playing 0 sum politics where Kenya keeps and supports a man who doesn't control Kismayo fully and his state is an Alshabaab breeding ground and launching pad for attacks in Kenya.

I would go into the JL future situation extensively, but I don't need to because it waters down to this "why keep and ally with the weak (Daarood) that can't help you long term when you can befriend the warrior (Hawiye) who are the crucial factor to peace in EA." Ethiopia and Kenya have clocked this and understand that allying with the likes of farmaajo(to conquer Somalia and keep it unstable when he can't even xoog his MP seats) and Madoobe(to cede juba land when he can't even walk in it safely, which won't happen) isn't a strong plan for their nation-states' long-term interests and goals. A stable Somalia benefits its neighbors is the new motto and only a Hawiye-ruled Somalia will bring that.
