Why don’t they use the thousands farmaajo trained in the last 5 yrs? Or the hundreds chilling in xamar and shabeelada?

My nephew is one of the young officers in Eritrea.
I can assure you the majority of the soldiers will return to their homes as soon as they touch down in Somalia.

There are many reasons why these soldiers will return to their homes. Firstly they were all tricked during the recruitment process. They were told they would be sent to Qatar for training earning a minimum of $300 monthly.

They were promised not only military trains but technical and logistical training e.g driving, electrical, computing etc.

Once they were delivered to Eritrea they were kept in isolated military bases and refused contact with their families for over 3 years.

They received only basic training and were not given any technical training. If they complained they face arrest. During one protest by the soldiers Eritrean force opened fire on them killing dozens of Somalis.

Many were able to pay bribes and escape from the base....walking hundreds of miles to Somali/ Afar region surviving on charity.

The 5000 young soldiers have list all hope in Somali military career and want to return home.

Forget about these soldiers.

Your becoming Sahal 2.0. I have a insight also on farmaajo dealing with Israel to take over Somalia and he gets 10 million a month for the next 10 months. You see how stupid your logic sounds. Don’t insult our intelligence!

These soldiers will be deployed on the southern coasts from Galmudug to JL in order to protect the companies that will drill oil but half of them will go to the coasts of Galmudug and Hirshabelle( between Cadale and Xarardheere) Oil extraction is the driving factor of the war on Al Shabaab so they need them in JL too.

Hassan Sh may end Al Shabaab with these 5000. they r planning deploying 2700 in Coastal Hirshabelle and Galmudug.
