All the Abgaal politicians and mps live in Abdulaziz. Some irrelevant uur nidig who don't even own 1 house in the district wants dc yaabka aduunka.

Mogadishu district leaders should either be elected or based on 4.5. The city was a lot more diverse before the civil war. Majority of Abgal lived outside the city. You can’t kick people out and then claim that they are minority now.

How many businesses did abgal have prior to the civil war?

Hawiye and especially abgal are the most armed in Mogadishu, sure, it doesn’t make them majority. If you add the bantu,D&M, Darood and minorities like reer Xamar, they probably make up more than 70% of the population.

Mogadishu is not like other cities in Somalia like garowe or hargeisa that was built by one clan. Mogadishu was built by all Somalis in the 60’s especially majerteen as part of the SYL. A real and serious government recognizes the capital city’s historical demographic

I didn’t say that, I said it was more diverse. I was born in Mogadishu like majority of darod before 1991.

Like I said, if local elections are implemented like PL is doing, then that would be major progress. The capital city has to be a city for everyone or it’s not a real capital city.

Absolutely. That’s what I like about putland and Somaliland even though I don’t support them. They succeed in disarmament of clans and their leaders. They also achieved monopoly on violence specially in their capitals.

The problem for the darod tribe is you can’t claim to be a big tribe if you can’t even build a decent sized city. Mogadishu is hawiye and raxanweyn city, no point crying about it, if we were to hold democratic elections tomorrow only hawiye/raxanweyn candidates would come out as winners. the question should be how can you develop your own regions so you don’t have to beg for a slice of Mogadishu. Bosaso is the largest darod town, I suggest all darod to come together and build up bosaso

The female Puntite mayor of AbdulAziiz is a lovely lady. Not to be sexist, but she looks, dresses exactly like, and is built like Saado Caali in that old music video with the purple dress and headscarf. Very visually pleasing lady. She also happens to have Rer Caabudwaaq/Gedo as her in-laws. Abdiaziiz is probably the most cosmopolitan district in Mogadishu and it really functions outside of Gobolka Benadir to be honest. AbdulAziiz is a special Government zone disteict that always functions as an extension of Villa Somalia.
