Nobody should insult the Samaroon......they are a repository of Somali academia and scholarship.
I was behind sl because it made sense, politically, geographically, culturally and economically.
Furthermore, I'm against tribal based governments.
It never ends well and is rooted in backwardness.
However, after the wholesale massacre of peaceful protesters, whom were demanding more security in Lascaanood, we can no longer be a part of sl
Even folk like myself whom are sympathetic towards sl cannot in all consciousness support their return.
There is no turning back now........sl is finished in our region. The sooner sl accept thar the better it will be for everyone.

Dhulbahante have invested to much into somaliland. To abandon it now and there is no altarnative if they wanted a state for their own subclan they would in 1991 but then they decided to join somaliland and then later in a faction broke off and joined puntland into 2009 u made ssc and then ssc both leaders keyse and xaglatoosiye joined somaliland then u created khatumo the first two president joined puntland sabaray and karaasg current vp of puntland indhosheel went back to Holland I know him actually personally we used to pray in the same mosque . Then the leadership of khatumo went to ali Khalif galaydh the most famous dhulbahante politician professor leader etc. He then made a deal with his old buddy siilaanyo signed a peace deal to fully integrate dhulbahante into Somaliland. So what are the chances ur entire clan joins the project and moves on

My position on sl evolved over time.
However, this is a fork in the road.
No Dhulbahante can ever accept sl rule again.
It would better to part peacefully rather than in conflict.

In kalshaale over hundred people died
And siilaanyo and xalgatoosiye made peace what ever wrong done can be fixed how ever I want dhulbahante to be honest with each other really. U know that somaliland is not killing their own officials to make a point be honest yes the riots killing was done by somaliland. But not the random killings of some of dying in laascanood. This is all on y and u need to deal with that
